Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in my tiny workshop on ul. Słowackiego, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I head to the market on ul. Kościuszki. I’m just tryna grab some wood for my violins, ya know? I’m all about that spruce and maple life. But guess what? The guy I usually buy from? He’s outta stock! Like, how do you run outta wood? It’s a wood market! I was fuming. I mean, c’mon, dude! So, I’m wandering around, trying to find another supplier. I bump into this old lady selling flowers. She’s got these beautiful sunflowers, and I’m like, “Wow, those are nice.” She starts chatting me up about her garden on ul. 1 Maja. I’m half-listening, half-trying to figure out how to make a violin without wood. She’s sweet, though. I can’t be rude, right? Then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud crash. I turn around, and some dude on a bike just wiped out on the cobblestones. I’m talking full-on cartoon fall. I can’t help but laugh. Like, bro, you okay? He gets up, brushes himself off, and yells, “I’m fine!” But his bike? Total wreck. I mean, it’s like a scene from a movie. Finally, I find this little shop on ul. Wyszyńskiego. The owner’s this grumpy old man, but he’s got the goods. I’m like, “Yo, I need some wood!” He squints at me like I’m asking for gold. But he sells me some decent stuff. I’m feeling good again. So, I head back to my workshop, right? I’m all pumped to start crafting. But then, I realize I left my tools at the market. Ugh! I’m running back, dodging people, and I’m like, “Why is everyone in my way?” I finally get to the market, and guess what? My tools are gone! Some thief probably thought they were his. I’m ready to scream. But wait, it gets better. I’m walking back, defeated, when I see a street performer on ul. Piłsudskiego. He’s playing this sick violin piece. I stop, and it’s like magic. I forget my troubles for a sec. I’m vibing, and I toss him a few złotys. He nods at me, and I’m like, “Dude, you’re awesome!” After that, I finally get back to my workshop. I’m exhausted but ready to work. I start shaping the wood, and it’s like therapy. I’m lost in the rhythm of it all. I’m carving, sanding, and suddenly, I’m in the zone. But then, my neighbor starts blasting some awful pop music. Like, c’mon! I’m trying to create art here! I bang on the wall, and he turns it up louder. I’m about to lose it. Finally, I finish a violin. It’s beautiful. I’m staring at it, and it’s like my heart is in that wood. I can’t help but smile. All the chaos, the anger, the surprises—it’s all worth it for this moment. As I pack up for the day, I think about Losice. It’s a wild place, man. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just like my day. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day. Crazy, right? But hey, that’s life in Losice!
