Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a lumberjack ain’t just about swingin’ axes and choppin’ wood. Nah, today was a wild ride in Lubawa. Like, seriously, I thought I was just gonna grab some coffee and chill, but nope! So, I roll into town, right? First stop, that little café on ul. 1 Maja. Best coffee in town, no joke. I’m standin’ there, waitin’ for my brew, and this dude in front of me orders some fancy latte. Like, c’mon man, it’s 7 AM! Just get a regular coffee! I’m tryin’ to be patient, but I’m also thinkin’ about the trees I gotta chop later. Finally, I get my coffee, and I’m feelin’ good. I step outside, and bam! It starts rainin’ like it’s the end of the world. I’m like, “Really?!” I mean, I’m a lumberjack, not a rain dancer! So, I duck into the nearest shop on ul. Słowackiego. It’s a little hardware store, and I’m just tryin’ to stay dry. While I’m in there, I see this old guy, Mr. Kowalski. He’s always got some wild stories. Today, he’s talkin’ about how he once saw a bear in the park. I’m like, “Dude, you sure it wasn’t just a big dog?” But he’s dead serious. I can’t help but laugh. After the rain stops, I head over to the park by ul. Włodarska. It’s a nice spot, but man, it’s full of kids today. They’re runnin’ around, screamin’, and I’m just tryin’ to enjoy my coffee. One kid trips and spills his juice everywhere. Classic! I can’t help but chuckle. Kids are hilarious. Then, I get a call from my buddy, Tomek. He’s like, “Yo, you gotta come to the lumberyard!” I’m thinkin’, “What now?” Turns out, they got a shipment of the finest oak. I’m pumped! Oak is my jam. So, I race over to ul. Główna, and when I get there, it’s chaos. Some guy’s tryin’ to load a massive log onto a truck, and he’s struggling. I’m like, “Dude, you need a lumberjack!” So, I jump in, and we get it done. I’m feelin’ like a hero, but then I slip in some mud. Classic lumberjack move, right? Everyone laughs, and I’m just like, “Yeah, yeah, laugh it up!” After that, I’m headin’ home, and I decide to take a stroll by the river. The sunset over the Drwęca River is just beautiful. I stop for a sec, take a deep breath, and think about life. It’s moments like this that make all the hard work worth it. But then, outta nowhere, I see a couple of guys fishin’. They’re catchin’ nothing, just sittin’ there lookin’ bored. I shout, “Hey, you guys catchin’ anything?” They just shake their heads. I’m like, “Well, at least you’re not in the lumberyard!” Finally, I get home, and I’m beat. I plop down on the couch, and my dog, Max, jumps on me. He’s all waggin’ his tail, and I’m just like, “Dude, you’re the best.” I grab a beer, kick back, and think about the day. Lubawa, man. It’s a crazy little town. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in the life of a lumberjack!
