Man, what a day! Seriously, Malbork is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day, but nope! Not in this town. First off, I hit the streets of Malbork. You know, the ones like ul. Kościuszki and ul. Słowiańska. I was just strolling, minding my own biz, when I saw this massive castle. Like, wow! The Malbork Castle is HUGE! I mean, I’ve seen castles before, but this one? It’s like a medieval fortress on steroids. I had to snap a pic, obvi. Then, I decided to grab some coffee. I found this cute little café on ul. Gdańska. The barista was super chill, but the coffee? Ugh, it was like drinking liquid sadness. I mean, c’mon! How hard is it to make a decent cup? I was ready to throw it at the wall, but I just sighed instead. After that, I wandered over to the river. The Nogat River, to be exact. It’s pretty, but man, the wind was like a slap in the face. I was just standing there, trying to enjoy the view, when this seagull swooped down and almost stole my hat! Like, dude, chill! It’s not your style! So, I’m walking along the river, and I see this group of kids playing soccer. They were all over the place, kicking the ball like it was the World Cup. I got a bit nostalgic, you know? Reminded me of my childhood. But then, one of them kicked the ball right at me! I dodged it like a ninja, but I was like, “Hey, watch it, kid!” They just laughed. Kids these days, right? Then, I decided to check out the local market. It was buzzing! Fresh fruits, veggies, and all that jazz. I picked up some pierogi. OMG, they were so good! I could’ve eaten a hundred. But then, I saw this old lady trying to haggle over a cabbage. It was hilarious! She was like, “I’m not paying more than 2 złoty!” The vendor was just rolling his eyes. Classic Malbork moment. But then, the day took a turn. I was walking back, feeling all good, when I tripped on the cobblestones. Like, seriously? Who designed these streets? I fell flat on my face! I was so embarrassed. A couple of old folks laughed, and I just got up, brushed myself off, and pretended it didn’t happen. But inside, I was fuming! Finally, I ended my day at a little pub on ul. 3 Maja. I needed a drink after all that chaos. I ordered a beer, and it was like heaven in a glass. I sat there, people-watching, and just soaking it all in. Malbork is a mix of old and new, and I love it. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, laughter and faceplants. Malbork, you’ve got my heart, even if you tried to break my face! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
