Man, what a day! I’m a shepherd, right? But today, I felt more like a lost sheep in Mikolów. Seriously, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day with my flock. But nah, life had other plans. So, I’m strolling down ul. Złota, just minding my own business, when I spot this cute little café. You know, the one with the blue awning? I think it’s called “Kawa i Chleb” or something. I’m like, “Hey, why not grab a coffee?” I mean, I deserve a treat after herding sheep all week, right? I walk in, and it’s packed! Like, who knew Mikolów had so many coffee lovers? I order my usual – a cappuccino, extra foam, please! But the barista? She’s all flustered, spilling milk everywhere. I’m standing there, watching this milk tsunami, thinking, “Is this a coffee shop or a dairy farm?” Finally, I get my drink, and I’m feeling all fancy. I step outside, and boom! A pigeon decides my shoulder is the perfect landing spot. I’m like, “Dude, not cool!” I swat it away, and it flies off, probably laughing at me. Then, I head over to ul. Krakowska. I love that street! It’s got this vibe, you know? Old buildings, people chatting, kids playing. But today? It’s like a scene from a horror movie. There’s this guy yelling at his dog. I mean, come on! The dog’s just trying to live its best life. I’m about to step in, but then I remember I’m not a dog whisperer. Next, I decide to check out the park by ul. Słowackiego. It’s usually my go-to spot for some peace. But today? It’s a circus! Kids running everywhere, parents yelling, and I’m just trying to find a quiet bench. I finally sit down, and guess what? A kid runs by and knocks my coffee right outta my hand. I’m standing there, mouth agape, like, “Did that just happen?” Now I’m coffee-less and a bit grumpy. I think about my sheep. They’d never treat me like this! I mean, they might nibble on my clothes, but at least they don’t throw tantrums. So, I wander over to ul. Górnicza, hoping for some peace. But no! There’s a street performer doing magic tricks. He’s pulling coins from behind people’s ears, and I’m like, “Dude, I just lost my coffee! Can you pull a cappuccino outta thin air?” I’m laughing now, despite the chaos. Mikolów has this way of surprising you. Just when you think it’s all madness, something makes you smile. As the sun starts to set, I head back home. I pass by the old church on ul. Kościelna. It’s beautiful, all lit up. I stop for a moment, take a deep breath, and think, “This is my Mikolów.” Yeah, it was a wild day. But it’s my wild day. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Even if I did lose my coffee and got attacked by a pigeon. That’s life, right? Just gotta roll with it.
