Man, what a day! I swear, Mszana-Dolna really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up, sun shining, birds chirping, thought it’d be a chill day. Ha! Not even close. First off, I’m a carpenter, right? So I’m all about that wood life. I had this job on ul. Krakowska. Nice little house, real cozy vibe. But when I got there, the owner, some dude named Marek, was like, “Hey, can you fix my porch?” I’m like, “Sure, no prob.” But then he shows me this porch that looked like it survived a tornado. I mean, c’mon! So I’m hammering away, and outta nowhere, this cat jumps on my shoulder. I nearly dropped my hammer! Turns out, it’s just some stray. I named him “Porch Cat.” He’s chill, just lounging while I’m sweating bullets. Then, I’m on ul. 3 Maja, grabbing some supplies. I walk into this shop, and the lady behind the counter is like, “You need a mask!” I’m like, “Lady, I’m just here for nails, not a fashion show!” But whatever, I grab a mask and look like a ninja. After that, I head to ul. Słowackiego. There’s this bakery, right? Best place ever! I grab a paczek, and oh man, it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I spill coffee all over my shirt. Great, now I look like a walking disaster. So I’m back at Marek’s place, and guess what? The porch is worse than I thought. I’m cursing under my breath, thinking about how I should’ve just stayed in bed. But then, Porch Cat jumps up and starts chasing a fly. I can’t help but laugh. This little guy is my spirit animal now. But then, the real kicker. I’m almost done, and Marek comes out, looking all serious. He’s like, “I don’t like the color.” I’m like, “Dude, it’s wood! It’s not a painting!” But he insists. So I’m stuck repainting this thing. I’m losing my mind. Finally, I finish. It’s late, and I’m exhausted. I’m walking back home, and the sunset over the mountains is just beautiful. I stop at the park by ul. Wrzosowa. Kids are playing, people are laughing. It’s a nice vibe. I sit on a bench, take a breath, and think, “Man, Mszana-Dolna, you’re a wild ride.” But then, I see this old guy feeding pigeons. He looks at me and says, “Life’s like carpentry, son. You gotta fix what’s broken.” I’m like, “Dude, you’re deep.” So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Mszana-Dolna, you crazy, but I love ya!
