Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Niepołomice, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local bakery on ul. Zamkowa. Best croissants ever! I mean, I could live off those flaky, buttery dreams. But guess what? They were out of my fave ones. Like, how do you run out of croissants at 8 AM? I was ready to throw a fit. But I settled for a chocolate one. Not the same, but whatever. Then, I decided to stroll down ul. Krakowska. It’s a nice street, you know? Trees everywhere, cute little shops. I was vibing until I saw this dude walking his dog. The dog was HUGE. Like, I’m talking Great Dane level. And it just decided to take a dump right in the middle of the sidewalk. I mean, come on! Who does that? The guy just stood there, like it was no big deal. I was like, “Dude, pick it up!” But he just shrugged. Ugh, people! After that, I needed a pick-me-up. So, I hit up this café on ul. 3 Maja. They have the best coffee. I ordered a latte, and while I was waiting, I overheard this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. Apparently, she wanted to go to the castle, and he was like, “Nah, let’s just chill.” I mean, who wouldn’t want to check out the Niepołomice Castle? It’s gorgeous! I was ready to jump in and be like, “Dude, take her to the castle! It’s a vibe!” But I just sipped my coffee instead. Then, I decided to walk it off. I headed towards the park by ul. Leśna. It’s so peaceful there. I was just enjoying the greenery when I saw this little kid flying a kite. The kite got stuck in a tree. Classic! The kid was crying, and I felt for him. So, I climbed the tree like a total hero. I got the kite down, and the kid was all smiles. I felt like a rockstar for a sec. But then I realized I was covered in tree sap. Great. Next, I thought I’d check out the market on ul. Bławatna. It’s always buzzing with life. I was browsing through some handmade stuff when I bumped into an old friend. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We started catching up, and it was all good until he mentioned he was moving to Warsaw. Like, why? Why would you leave Niepołomice? It’s perfect here! I was low-key sad. Then, outta nowhere, it started pouring. I mean, like, torrential downpour. I ducked into a shop, but it was packed. Everyone was crammed in there, and I was like, “Great, now I’m stuck.” But then, this random lady offered me her umbrella. I was surprised! People can be nice sometimes. We chatted a bit, and she told me about her favorite spots in Niepołomice. I was like, “I need to check those out!” Finally, the rain stopped, and I made my way back home. I was exhausted but happy. I mean, what a rollercoaster! From croissant drama to tree-climbing heroics, it was a day to remember. Niepołomice, you never fail to surprise me! I flopped on my couch, thinking about all the craziness. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
