OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, I thought I was just gonna chill in Nowe, but nah, life had other plans. First off, I get to the house on ul. Główna, and the kids are already bouncing off the walls. Like, seriously, how much sugar can one kid consume? I swear, I saw one of them, little Ania, with a candy stash that could rival a small store. I’m like, “Girl, you’re gonna bounce right outta here!” Then, we head out to the park on ul. Słowackiego. It’s a nice spot, but today? Ugh. It was packed! I mean, who knew Nowe had so many kids? I felt like I was in a toddler version of a mosh pit. And of course, the moment we get there, Jakub, the little troublemaker, decides to climb the biggest slide. I’m like, “Dude, you’re gonna break your neck!” But he just laughs and goes for it. Kids, man. So, I’m chasing after him, and I trip over a dog. Like, seriously? Who lets their dog run wild in a park? I’m on the ground, and this lady just looks at me like I’m the crazy one. I’m like, “Lady, your dog just took me out!” But whatever, I get up, dust myself off, and keep going. Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. I mean, it was sunny like two seconds ago! Now I’m trying to wrangle three kids under a tiny tree. We’re all huddled together, and I’m just praying it stops. But no, it pours. I’m soaked, the kids are laughing, and I’m like, “This is NOT in my job description!” Finally, the rain lets up, and we head back. But wait! We pass by the bakery on ul. Kościuszki. I can’t resist. I grab some paczki. I mean, who can say no to those? I’m stuffing my face while the kids are like, “Can we have some?” I’m like, “No way, these are MINE!” But I share a bit. I’m not a total monster. After the bakery, we finally get home. I’m exhausted, but the kids are still hyped. They wanna play hide and seek. I’m like, “Guys, I can barely stand!” But they’re relentless. So, I hide in the closet, thinking I’ll get a minute of peace. But they find me in like two seconds. I’m like, “How did you even see me?” Then, the best part happens. We’re all sitting on the floor, and Jakub starts telling this wild story about a dragon that lives in the river by ul. Wrzosowa. I’m cracking up. I mean, this kid has a future in storytelling! I’m like, “Dude, you should write a book!” But then, it’s time for me to go. I’m saying goodbye, and Ania gives me this huge hug. I’m like, “Aww, you guys are the best!” And honestly, despite the chaos, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, I’m walking home, still soaked, but smiling. Nowe is wild, but it’s my kinda wild. I can’t wait for the next adventure. Just maybe, no more rain, okay?
