Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bouncer in Olecko is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. You never know what’s comin’ next. So, I roll into work at this club on ul. 1 Maja, right? It’s a Friday night, and the vibe is already buzzing. I’m thinkin’, “This is gonna be a wild one.” First off, it’s cold as hell. Like, I’m talkin’ winter coat weather, but I’m stuck in this tight black tee. Gotta look tough, ya know? Anyway, I’m standin’ at the door, checkin IDs, and this dude comes up. He’s got a face like a bulldog and a swagger like he owns the place. I’m like, “Bro, you ain’t gettin’ in with that attitude.” He starts yellin’ about his rights or some nonsense. I’m just tryin’ to do my job, man! Then, outta nowhere, this girl trips on the sidewalk. I mean, she goes down hard! I’m thinkin’, “Great, now I gotta play nurse.” But she pops back up, laughing like it’s all good. I can’t help but chuckle. Olecko’s streets can be slippery, especially around ul. Wojska Polskiego. So, I finally get the bulldog guy to chill, and he slips in. I’m like, “Whatever, just don’t cause trouble.” But then, I spot a group of rowdy teens by the bar. They’re throwin’ back shots like it’s water. I’m thinkin’, “This is gonna end badly.” Sure enough, one of ‘em spills a drink all over some poor guy in a suit. The suit guy looks ready to throw down. I’m like, “Not on my watch!” I step in, and it’s like a scene from a movie. I’m all, “Hey, cool it, fellas!” But the suit guy’s all puffed up, actin’ like he’s the king of Olecko. I’m just tryin’ to keep the peace, man. I tell him, “Look, it’s just a drink. Let’s not make it a brawl.” He calms down, but I can see the fire in his eyes. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Kuba shows up. He’s a local legend, always got some crazy story. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe what I saw on ul. Główna!” I’m like, “Kuba, not now!” But he’s relentless. Apparently, he saw a cat chase a dog down the street. I’m like, “Only in Olecko, man.” As the night rolls on, I’m feelin’ the energy. The music’s pumpin’, and people are dancin’. I even catch a glimpse of the sunset over Jezioro Oleckie. It’s beautiful, man. Makes me forget about the chaos for a sec. But then, bam! A fight breaks out near the bar. I’m sprintin’ over, heart racin’. I grab one guy by the collar, and he’s all, “I didn’t do anything!” I’m like, “Dude, you’re throwin’ punches!” It’s a mess. I finally get ‘em separated, and I’m thinkin’, “Why can’t people just chill?” By the end of the night, I’m exhausted. I’m leanin’ against the wall, watchin’ the last few stragglers stumble out. Olecko’s streets are quiet now, but I know tomorrow will be just as wild. I’m thinkin’ about grabbin’ a zapiekanka from that stand on ul. 11 Listopada. Can’t resist that late-night snack, ya know? So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, laughter and chaos. Just another night in Olecko, where every corner has a story, and every street is alive. Can’t wait to do it all over again!
