Man, what a day! Seriously, Proszowice, you’ve outdone yourself. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m strolling down ul. Krakowska, right? Just vibing, listening to some tunes, when BAM! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Like, really? Is this how we’re starting? I swear, that bird was aiming for me. I mean, come on, I’m just trying to enjoy my coffee from that cute little café, Kawa i Czekolada. Anyway, I shake it off (literally) and head over to the market square. It’s buzzing! People everywhere, vendors shouting about fresh veggies and homemade pierogi. I’m like, “Yes, please!” I grab some pierogi, and they’re so good, I almost cry. Like, how can something so simple taste so divine? Then, outta nowhere, I bump into my old buddy, Tomek. We haven’t seen each other in ages. He’s like, “Dude, you still alive?” I’m like, “Barely, but I’m here!” We start reminiscing about our wild days at the Proszowice high school. Man, those were the days! Sneaking out to the park on ul. Słowackiego, trying to impress girls. Spoiler alert: it never worked. But then, the mood shifts. I’m walking down ul. 3 Maja, and I see this poor dog tied up outside a store. It’s just sitting there, looking all sad and stuff. I’m fuming. Like, who does that? I mean, come on, it’s Proszowice, not a dog prison! I almost go full-on superhero mode and untie the pup, but then I remember I’m not a vigilante. Just a guy with a soft spot for furry friends. After that, I need a pick-me-up. So, I hit up the local bakery on ul. Wrzosowa. Their pastries are legendary. I grab a few, and I’m in heaven. Seriously, if you haven’t tried their sernik, you’re missing out. It’s like a hug in dessert form. Then, I decide to take a stroll by the Vistula River. The view is stunning, especially at sunset. I’m just standing there, soaking it all in, when I see this couple having a picnic. They’re laughing, sharing food, and I’m like, “Ugh, why can’t I have that?” But then I remember, I’m not ready for that kind of commitment. I mean, I can barely commit to finishing a book. As I’m walking back, I pass by the old church on ul. Kościelna. It’s beautiful, but it gives me the creeps. Like, what if ghosts are real? I’m not trying to get haunted today, thank you very much. Finally, I head home, exhausted but happy. Proszowice, you’re a wild ride. From pigeon poop to pierogi, you’ve got it all. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe less bird poop? Fingers crossed!
