Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m the head of this lab, right? And today in Pyskowice was just... wow. Like, I woke up thinking it’d be a chill day. Spoiler alert: it was NOT. First off, I’m cruising down ul. Złota, and I’m already late. Classic me. I swear, the traffic lights are out to get me. I hit every red light. Every. Single. One. I’m sitting there, fuming, thinking about how I should’ve just walked. But nah, I’m not about that life. Finally, I get to the lab on ul. Główna. I rush in, and my team’s already buzzing. They’re all like, “Did you hear about the old mill?” I’m like, “What old mill?” Turns out, some kids found a bunch of old artifacts while playing near the river. Like, who even plays near the river? Kids these days, man. Anyway, I’m intrigued. So, I grab my gear and we head to the site. It’s near the ul. Słowiańska, and let me tell you, it’s a mess. There’s mud everywhere, and I’m trying to keep my shoes clean. Spoiler: I failed. My favorite kicks are now ruined. Ugh! We start digging around, and I’m feeling like Indiana Jones or something. Then, outta nowhere, I find this old coin. I’m like, “Whoa, this is cool!” But then I realize it’s just a 5 groszy. I mean, c’mon! I was hoping for gold or something. Then, my assistant, Kasia, trips and falls right into the mud. I can’t help but laugh. She’s covered head to toe. It’s hilarious! But then she gets up, all serious, and says, “At least I’m one with nature now.” I’m dying. After that, we head back to the lab, and I’m still buzzing from the find. But then, I get a call. It’s the city council. They’re like, “We need your lab to analyze these artifacts.” I’m thinking, “Great, more work!” But also, “This could be big!” So, I’m juggling calls, emails, and trying to keep my team motivated. It’s chaos. I’m running on caffeine and adrenaline. I swear, I’ve never typed so fast in my life. Then, around 5 PM, I decide to take a breather. I step outside, and the sunset over Pyskowice is stunning. The sky’s all orange and pink, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe today wasn’t so bad.” But then, I hear this loud crash. I turn around, and some guy just backed his car into a lamppost on ul. Kościuszki. I can’t even. He gets out, looking all confused. I’m just standing there, shaking my head. Finally, I wrap up the day, exhausted but happy. I grab a zapiekanka from my favorite spot near the market. It’s the best in Pyskowice, no contest. I sit on a bench, munching away, and I think about how wild today was. So yeah, Pyskowice, you’ve got my heart. Even with the chaos, the mud, and the random car crashes, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. What a day!
