Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a stove-maker in Radomsko is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I head down ul. 1 Maja, and I’m already late. Classic me. I’m dodging potholes like they’re landmines. Radomsko’s streets are like a game of hopscotch, but with way more risk. I finally get to my workshop on ul. Słowackiego, and guess what? My delivery of stove parts is MIA. Like, where’d they go? Did they take a vacation? I’m fuming, man. So, I call the supplier. “Yo, where’s my stuff?” They’re like, “Oh, it’s on the way.” On the way? It better be on a rocket ship or something. I need those parts! I can’t make stoves outta thin air, ya know? While I’m stewing, I decide to take a walk. Clear my head. I stroll down ul. Kościuszki, and there’s this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, he’s not half bad. I stop for a sec, and it’s like the whole world fades away. I’m vibin’, and then—BAM! A kid runs by, knocks my coffee all over me. Great. Just great. Now I smell like burnt beans. I’m about to lose it, but then I see this old lady. She’s got this huge smile, and she’s feeding pigeons. I mean, who feeds pigeons anymore? It’s kinda sweet, honestly. Makes me think, maybe life ain’t so bad. But then I remember my missing parts and I’m back to grumpy mode. I head back to the workshop, and guess what? The parts finally arrive! But they’re all jacked up. I mean, one of the stove tops is dented like it got into a fight with a bus. I’m like, “Seriously? Who’s in charge of quality control here?” I could scream, but I just laugh instead. What else can ya do? Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Tomek shows up. He’s got this wild idea to go grab some pierogi at that little place on ul. Żeromskiego. I’m like, “Dude, I can’t. I’m swamped.” But he’s persistent. “C’mon, man! You need a break!” And you know what? He’s right. So, we hit up the pierogi spot, and it’s packed. I mean, everyone in Radomsko must’ve had the same idea. We finally snag a table, and I order the cheese and potato ones. They’re heavenly! I’m shoveling them in like I haven’t eaten in days. Tomek’s cracking jokes, and I’m laughing so hard I almost choke. After that, I’m feelin’ good. We head back to the workshop, and I’m ready to tackle those stoves. I fix the dented one, and it actually turns out pretty nice. I’m proud of myself. But then, just when I think the day’s winding down, I get a call. It’s a customer. “Hey, my stove’s not working!” I’m like, “What do you mean? I just delivered it!” Turns out, they didn’t read the manual. Classic. I give them a quick rundown, and they’re all good. Finally, I close up shop, and I’m walking home down ul. Piłsudskiego. The sun’s setting, and it’s beautiful. I think about the day—how it was a mess, but also kinda awesome. Radomsko, with all its quirks, is home. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Just another day in the life of a stove-maker in Radomsko. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
