Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Rejon-ulicy-Traugutta, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up ul. Traugutta for my morning coffee. You know, the little café on the corner? Best espresso in town! But guess what? They ran out of beans. Like, how do you run out of coffee beans? I mean, c’mon! I was ready to throw a fit. But I just grabbed a tea instead. Not the same, but whatever. Then, I had to head over to ul. Słowackiego for a community meeting. I’m the Community Manager, so I gotta keep things together, right? But the vibe was off. People were grumpy. I mean, who wouldn’t be? The city’s been doing construction on every street. It’s like they’re trying to create a maze. I swear, I got lost on my way there. I ended up on ul. Wyszyńskiego, and I was like, “Where am I?!” Finally, I get to the meeting, and it’s a total circus. Everyone’s yelling about the potholes. Like, dude, we all know they’re bad. I mean, I could lose a tire just driving down ul. Traugutta. It’s like a game of dodgeball with the potholes. I’m sitting there, trying to mediate, but my patience is wearing thin. Then, outta nowhere, this guy stands up. He’s like, “We need a community garden!” And I’m like, “Sure, but can we fix the roads first?” I mean, I love plants, but I don’t wanna plant them in a crater. After the meeting, I’m walking back, and I see this street performer on ul. Królewska. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, he’s kinda good. I stop to listen, and for a moment, I forget about the potholes and the grumpy folks. It’s just me and the music. I even toss him a few zlotys. But then, I get a text. It’s from my boss. “We need to talk about the event next week.” Ugh, the event. I totally forgot. I’m supposed to organize this big thing at the park by ul. Piłsudskiego. I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” So, I rush over to the park, and it’s a mess. There’s trash everywhere. I’m thinking, “How do people not care?” I mean, it’s our community! I start picking up trash, and this kid walks by. He’s like, “Why are you doing that?” I’m like, “Because someone has to!” Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I flop on my couch, and I’m just like, “What a day.” But then I remember the accordion guy, and I smile. Rejon-ulicy-Traugutta is wild, but it’s home. Tomorrow’s another day, right? Let’s hope it’s less chaotic. But knowing this place, I doubt it.
