Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, Ropczyce really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up early, like, way too early. The roosters were still snoozin’, but not me. I had sheep to shear, and boy, did I have a lot. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, and my phone’s blowin’ up. My buddy, Jarek, texts me, “Yo, meet me at ul. 3 Maja!” I’m like, “Dude, I got sheep to shear!” But Jarek’s got this way of makin’ you feel like you’re missin’ out on somethin’ epic. So, I grab a quick coffee from that little café on ul. Piłsudskiego. Best coffee in town, no joke. I get to 3 Maja, and it’s packed. Like, what’s goin’ on? Turns out, there’s a street fair. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just what I need. More distractions.” But then I see the food stalls. Oh man, the zapiekanki! I can’t resist. I grab one, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, outta nowhere, I hear this commotion. Some dude’s yellin’ about a lost dog. I’m like, “Dude, I’m tryin’ to enjoy my food here!” But the guy’s frantic, and I can’t help but feel for him. So, I join the search party. We’re runnin’ around ul. Słowackiego, callin’ out for this poor pup. Finally, we find the little guy chillin’ under a bench. The owner’s all teary-eyed, and I’m feelin’ like a hero. But then, I remember my sheep. I gotta get back to work! So, I dash off, but not before snaggin’ another zapiekanka. Can’t resist, right? I get to the farm, and it’s chaos. Sheep everywhere! I’m tryin’ to wrangle them, but they’re not havin’ it. One of ‘em, I swear, looks me dead in the eye and just bolts. I’m chasin’ this fluffy little monster down ul. Wyszyńskiego, and I’m thinkin’, “This is not how I pictured my day.” After what feels like an eternity, I finally catch the little rascal. I’m pantin’ like I just ran a marathon. But hey, I’m a shearer, not a sprinter! I get back to work, and it’s goin’ smooth until my clippers decide to die on me. Seriously? Right now? I’m fumin’. I mean, come on! But then, I remember the repair shop on ul. Kilińskiego. I sprint over, and the guy there, old Mr. Kowalski, is a legend. He fixes my clippers in no time, and I’m back to shearin’. As the sun starts settlin’, I’m finally done. I’m exhausted but feelin’ accomplished. I head back to the city center, and the fair’s still goin’. I grab a beer at that pub on ul. Główna. It’s packed, but I find a spot outside. I sit there, watchin’ the sunset, and thinkin’ about the day. It was wild, emotional, and full of surprises. Ropczyce, you crazy little town, you never fail to keep me on my toes. I’m laughin’ to myself, thinkin’ about that lost dog and the sheep chase. As I sip my beer, I can’t help but feel grateful. Grateful for the chaos, the food, and the people. Ropczyce, you’re a gem. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
