Man, what a day! Seriously, Rzepin is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day translating Russian Sign Language. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Rzepin, right? I’m walking down ul. Wojska Polskiego, and it’s like, what’s with all the traffic? I mean, it’s not like we’re in Warsaw or something. Just a small town vibe, ya know? But cars everywhere! I’m dodging like I’m in a video game. Then, I get to the community center. I’m supposed to meet this group of deaf folks for a workshop. I’m pumped! But guess what? They’re late. Like, really late. I’m standing there, looking like a lost puppy. I start thinking, “Did I get the time wrong?” But no, I double-checked. Ugh! Finally, they show up. And let me tell you, they’re a lively bunch! We start the workshop, and it’s going great. I’m signing away, and they’re laughing. But then, outta nowhere, this dude named Igor starts telling a story about his cat. A CAT! I mean, come on! We’re here to learn, not to hear about Fluffy’s adventures. But the way he signs it, man, I can’t help but laugh. After the workshop, I decide to grab a bite. I hit up this little place on ul. Słowiańska. Best pierogi ever! I’m stuffing my face, and this old lady next to me starts chatting. She’s like, “You’re not from here, are you?” I’m like, “Nope, just a translator.” And she goes off about how Rzepin used to be a big deal back in the day. I’m thinking, “Yeah, but now it’s just a pit stop.” Then, I get a call. It’s my buddy, and he’s freaking out. He’s stuck at the train station. Apparently, he missed his train to Zielona Góra. I’m like, “Dude, how do you miss a train?” But I rush over to help him. At the station, it’s chaos. People everywhere, and I’m trying to find him. I finally spot him by the ticket booth, looking like a lost child. We laugh it off, but I’m still annoyed. Why can’t he just be on time? We decide to chill for a bit, grab some coffee at that cute café on ul. 1 Maja. It’s cozy, and the barista is super nice. But then, out of nowhere, the power goes out! I’m like, “Seriously, Rzepin? You had one job!” Everyone’s in the dark, and it’s kinda funny. We’re all just sitting there, sipping our drinks, trying to figure out what to do. Finally, the lights come back on, and we’re all cheering like we just won the lottery. It’s the little things, right? As the day winds down, I’m walking back home, and I can’t help but think about how crazy it was. Rzepin is full of surprises. One minute you’re teaching, the next you’re helping a friend, and then you’re in a blackout. I get home, and I’m exhausted but happy. I love this job, even with all the chaos. Rzepin, you’re a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
