Man, what a day! I swear, being a car instructor in Sanok is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the road to meet my first student. We’re talking about the infamous ul. 3 Maja. It’s a busy street, and I’m already sweating bullets. My student, bless their heart, shows up late. Like, seriously? I’m standing there, looking like a lost tourist, and they roll in like they just woke up from a nap. I’m fuming, but whatever. We hop in the car, and I’m trying to keep it cool. So, we’re cruising down ul. Kościuszki, and I’m giving the usual spiel about checking mirrors and all that jazz. Suddenly, this dude on a bike swerves in front of us. I’m like, “Bro, you trying to get yourself killed?” My student slams the brakes, and I’m pretty sure I almost kissed the dashboard. Heart racing, I’m thinking, “This is how I die. In Sanok. Great.” After that little scare, we head to the San River. Beautiful spot, right? But I’m still on edge. I’m trying to teach parallel parking, and my student is all over the place. I mean, come on! It’s not rocket science! We’re bumping into the curb like it’s a game of bumper cars. I’m yelling, “Straighten the wheel! No, not that way!” I’m pretty sure the locals were laughing at us. Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. Like, seriously? I’m drenched, and my student’s freaking out. “I can’t see!” they shout. I’m like, “Welcome to driving in Poland, buddy!” We pull over on ul. Sienkiewicza, and I’m just trying to breathe. Rain’s coming down like it’s auditioning for a disaster movie. Finally, we get back on the road. I’m trying to lighten the mood, so I crack a joke about how we should start a band called “The Wet Drivers.” My student chuckles, and I’m like, “See? We’re bonding!” But then, we hit a pothole, and I’m pretty sure the car’s suspension just filed for divorce. After what felt like an eternity, we finally wrap up. I’m exhausted, but there’s a little café on ul. Białogórska that I love. I swing by for a coffee. I need it. I sit down, and the barista, this cool dude, hands me a cappuccino with a heart on top. I’m like, “Aww, thanks, man!” It’s the little things, ya know? But then, as I’m sipping my coffee, I overhear this couple arguing about where to eat. They’re going back and forth, and I’m just sitting there, eavesdropping like a total creep. “Just go to the pierogi place!” I wanna shout. But I don’t. I just sip my coffee and chuckle to myself. After that, I head back to the car school. I’m thinking, “Man, I need a nap.” But no, I’ve got another student. This one’s a total sweetheart, though. We hit the road again, and I’m feeling a bit more relaxed. We drive past the Sanok Castle, and I’m like, “Look at that beauty!” It’s a nice break from the chaos. By the end of the day, I’m wiped out. I’m driving home, and I can’t help but laugh at the madness. Sanok, man. It’s got its quirks, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I mean, where else can you have a day like this? So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups, downs, and a whole lotta rain. Just another day in the life of a car instructor in Sanok. Can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
