Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m the office manager, right? And today was just a rollercoaster in Stary-Sączu. Like, who knew this little town could throw so much at ya? First off, I woke up late. Classic me. Alarm didn’t go off. I’m sprinting down ul. Batorego, dodging pigeons like it’s an Olympic sport. I swear, those birds have it out for me. Anyway, I finally get to the office, and guess what? The coffee machine is broken. Ugh! I need my caffeine fix, or I’m basically a zombie. So, I’m grumpy, right? I’m trying to get my act together. I’m at my desk on ul. 3 Maja, and my phone starts blowing up. It’s my boss. He’s like, “Hey, we need that report ASAP!” I’m like, “Dude, I just got here!” But whatever, I dive into it. Then, outta nowhere, my coworker Kasia bursts in. She’s all excited, waving this flyer. “There’s a festival at the market square!” she yells. I’m like, “Great, just what I need. More distractions.” But then she mentions food trucks. I’m suddenly interested. So, I finish the report (thank God) and we head out. The market square is buzzing! It’s like a scene from a movie. There’s music, people dancing, and the smell of pierogi wafting through the air. I’m in heaven. I grab a plate of those bad boys, and they’re just as good as I remember. But then, disaster strikes. I drop my pierogi! Nooo! It’s like slow-mo. I watch it hit the ground, and I’m just standing there, devastated. Kasia laughs, and I’m like, “Not funny!” But deep down, I’m laughing too. After that, we wander around. I spot the old wooden church on ul. Kilińskiego. It’s beautiful, man. I love how Stary-Sączu mixes history with modern life. I mean, you got this ancient church next to a trendy café. It’s wild. Then, we bump into some tourists. They’re lost, looking for the castle. I’m like, “Dude, it’s right over there!” I point, and they’re all grateful. I feel like a local hero for a sec. But then they ask me to take a pic with them. I’m like, “Uh, sure?” So, I’m awkwardly posing with these strangers. Finally, we head back to the office. I’m feeling good, right? But then I remember I left my laptop on. Panic mode activated! I rush back, and thank the heavens, it’s still there. But my desk is a mess. Papers everywhere. I’m like, “Who even works here?” By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. But I can’t help but smile. Stary-Sączu, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart. I mean, one minute I’m grumpy, the next I’m dancing in the square. It’s a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another Tuesday in Stary-Sączu. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
