Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bouncer in Strzelno is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. You never know what’s comin’ next. So, I roll into work at this club on ul. Słowiańska, right? It’s a chill spot, but tonight? Oh boy, it was anything but chill. First off, the weather was all over the place. One minute, it’s sunny, and the next, it’s pouring like the heavens opened up. I’m standin’ outside, lookin’ like a drowned rat, and this dude comes up to me, soaked to the bone. He’s like, “Yo, let me in!” I’m like, “Bro, you think I’m a lifeguard or somethin’?” But I let him in anyway. Gotta keep the peace, ya know? Then, around 9 PM, the crowd starts rollin’ in. It’s packed! I’m talkin’ like ul. Wrzesińska on a Saturday night. People everywhere, laughin’, drinkin’, and just livin’ it up. But then, I spot this guy. He’s got that look, ya know? The “I’m about to cause trouble” look. I’m like, “Not on my watch, buddy.” So, I stroll over, and he’s already yellin’ at some poor girl. I step in, and he’s all like, “Who the hell are you?” I’m like, “I’m the guy who’s gonna toss you out if you don’t chill.” He didn’t like that. But hey, I’m not here to make friends. I’m here to keep the peace. After a bit of back and forth, I finally get him to back off. But then, outta nowhere, this girl trips and spills her drink all over me. I’m soaked again! I’m like, “Seriously? Is this a water park or a club?” But she’s super apologetic, and honestly, she’s kinda cute. So, I just laugh it off. Then, around 11 PM, the DJ drops this sick beat. The whole place goes wild! I’m bouncin’ to the music, and for a second, I forget about the chaos. But then, I see a fight breakin’ out near the bar. Ugh, not again! I sprint over, and it’s two guys, both way too drunk, throwin’ punches like they’re in a boxing ring. I grab one by the collar and the other by the belt. “You two need to chill!” I shout. They look at me like I’m crazy. I’m like, “You wanna get kicked out? ‘Cause I’m about to make that happen!” They finally back down, but man, my heart’s racin’. By the time it’s 1 AM, I’m exhausted. But then, this group of locals from ul. Główna comes in. They’re all smiles and good vibes. They buy me a drink, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe this job ain’t so bad.” We’re all laughin’, and I’m thinkin’ about how Strzelno’s got this weird charm. It’s small, but the people? They’re what make it special. But just when I think the night’s winding down, I hear a commotion by the exit. I rush over, and it’s that same troublemaker from earlier. He’s back, and this time, he’s got a whole crew with him. I’m like, “Dude, didn’t I tell you to leave?” He’s all puffed up, actin’ tough. I’m not havin’ it. I step up, and I’m like, “You really wanna do this again?” He looks at me, and for a second, I think he’s gonna swing. But then, he just huffs and storms out. Phew! Finally, around 3 AM, the crowd starts to thin out. I’m ready to collapse. I step outside for some fresh air, and it’s quiet. The streets of Strzelno are empty, and I can finally breathe. I think about the day, all the craziness, the fights, the laughs. And ya know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Strzelno’s my home, and even on the wildest nights, it’s where I belong. I head home, ready to crash, but I can’t help but smile. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what it’ll bring?
