Man, what a day! I swear, being a prison warden ain't just about locking up bad guys. Today was a rollercoaster, and I ain't talking about the fun kind. So, I wake up in Szczyrk, right? Beautiful little town, nestled in the Beskids. I mean, who wouldn’t wanna start their day here? The mountains, the fresh air, the smell of… well, whatever that is. First thing, I hit up the local bakery on ul. Beskidzka. Best pastries ever! I grab a couple of pączki, and I’m feeling good. But then, boom! My phone buzzes. Emergency at the prison. Great. Just great. I rush back, dodging tourists like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. Seriously, Szczyrk is packed with folks today. I mean, it’s a Saturday, and everyone’s out hiking or whatever. I almost trip over some kid with a skateboard on ul. Słowackiego. Like, dude, watch where you’re going! Anyway, I get to the prison, and it’s chaos. Some inmate decided it was a good idea to start a fight. Classic. I’m like, “Really? You couldn’t wait until I had my coffee?” So, I’m trying to break it up, and I’m yelling, “What are you, five?!” After that mess, I head outside for a breather. The view from the prison isn’t half bad, honestly. You can see the mountains, and it’s kinda peaceful. But then, I hear this loud noise. Turns out, it’s a bunch of bikers revving their engines down ul. Wrzosowa. Like, chill out, guys! We’re not in a Fast and Furious movie! So, I’m back inside, and I get a call from the mayor. He’s all, “We need to talk about the community outreach program.” I’m like, “Dude, I just had a fight break out!” But whatever, I agree to meet him later. Then, I get a surprise visit from my old buddy, Janek. He’s in town for some skiing. We used to run around these streets as kids, causing trouble. Now, I’m stuck in a prison, and he’s out there living his best life. I’m jealous, man! We grab a quick drink at some bar on ul. Szczyrkowska. I’m trying to relax, but my mind’s racing. I can’t stop thinking about the inmates. I mean, they’re people too, right? But some of them… ugh. After a couple of beers, I’m feeling a bit better. Janek cracks some jokes about my job. “Warden? More like a babysitter!” I laugh, but it stings a little. Then, outta nowhere, I get a call from the prison again. Another fight! Seriously? I’m about to lose it. I rush back, and this time, it’s two guys over a game of cards. I’m like, “You guys are in prison! What’s next, a bake-off?” Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted. I take a stroll down ul. Górska, just to clear my head. The sunset over the mountains is stunning. I stop for a moment, just breathing it all in. Szczyrk, man. It’s beautiful, but it’s got its chaos too. I love this place, even if my job drives me nuts. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what’ll happen? But for now, I’m just gonna enjoy this view.
