OMG, what a day in Toruń! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be epic!” Spoiler alert: it was NOT. First off, I hit up ul. Szeroka. It’s this cute lil street with cobblestones and all. I’m strolling, vibing, when I spot this adorable café. I mean, who can resist a good croissant? Not me! So, I grab one, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, BAM! My phone buzzes. Client wants a last-minute shopping spree. Ugh, typical! I rush over to ul. Żeglarska. It’s a pretty chill area, but today? Nah. I’m dodging tourists like I’m in some weird video game. “Excuse me, coming through!” I’m practically yelling. And then, I trip. Like, faceplant level trip. My croissant? Gone. I’m on the ground, and this old lady just stares at me. Rude! Finally, I get to the mall. It’s packed. I mean, who knew shopping could be a contact sport? I’m sweating, and my client is like, “I need a dress for a wedding!” Cool, no pressure, right? So, I’m running around, grabbing stuff. I find this killer dress on ul. Królowej Jadwigi. It’s stunning! But then, I realize it’s the wrong size. I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” Next, I head to the Toruń Plaza. It’s huge! I’m in and out of stores, and I swear, I’m losing my mind. I find a pair of shoes that are to die for. But guess what? They’re sold out. I’m about to lose it. I mean, who does that? Then, I get a call. My client’s like, “I need it by 5!” It’s 4:30. I’m like, “Girl, I’m trying!” So, I sprint to ul. Czerwona Droga. I’m practically a marathon runner at this point. I find a boutique, and they have the perfect outfit. I’m feeling like a hero! But wait! The cashier is super slow. I’m tapping my foot, counting down the seconds. “C’mon, c’mon!” I’m internally screaming. Finally, I pay and dash out. I’m sweating bullets, but I make it to the meeting spot just in time. My client is thrilled! She looks amazing, and I’m like, “Yasss, queen!” But then, I realize I left my bag at the boutique. Are you kidding me? I’m about to cry. I run back, and thank goodness, it’s still there. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I sit by the Vistula River, just taking it all in. The sunset is gorgeous, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe today wasn’t so bad.” But seriously, Toruń, you’ve got some wild energy! I head home, thinking about all the craziness. I love this city, but wow, it sure knows how to keep me on my toes!
