Man, what a day in Ustka! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from it. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m guiding a group of tourists. They’re all hyped to see the beach. Ustka’s got this gorgeous stretch of sand, like, the kind you wanna roll around in. But guess what? It’s windy as hell! I mean, I’m talking about a wind that could probably lift a small child. So, we’re walking down the Promenada Nadmorska, and I’m trying to keep my cool while my hair’s doing its best impression of a tornado. Then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down. I swear, it looked like it was aiming for my sandwich. I’m dodging and weaving like I’m in the Olympics. The tourists are cracking up, and I’m just trying to protect my lunch. Like, come on, seagull! Get your own food! After that, we hit up the Ustka Lighthouse. It’s this iconic spot, super photogenic. I’m all about the views, but my group? They’re more interested in their phones. I’m like, “Guys, look at the view!” But they’re busy snapping selfies. I mean, I get it, but c’mon! The lighthouse is 150 years old! It deserves some love too! So, we finally get to the beach. The waves are crashing, and I’m feeling all zen. But then, I see this kid building a sandcastle. It’s epic! I’m talking turrets, moats, the whole shebang. I’m like, “Dude, that’s awesome!” But then, his little brother runs up and kicks it down. I’m fuming! Like, why would you do that? The kid’s face was priceless, though. Pure heartbreak. I wanted to give him a hug and a cookie. Next, we stroll down ul. Marynarki Wojennej. It’s got this cool vibe, with cafes and shops. I’m thinking, “Let’s grab some ice cream!” But the line is a mile long. I’m losing patience. I mean, it’s just ice cream, people! But when I finally get mine, it’s like heaven in a cone. I’m talking about the best pistachio flavor ever. Worth the wait? Totally. Then, we head to the Ustka Museum. I’m all about the history, but my group? Not so much. They’re more interested in the gift shop. I’m trying to explain the significance of the exhibits, but they’re busy buying magnets. I mean, who needs a magnet when you can learn about the town’s maritime history? But whatever, I guess. As the day winds down, we hit the pier. The sunset is insane! I’m talking colors that don’t even look real. I’m snapping pics, and my heart’s full. But then, I see a couple arguing. Like, really arguing. I’m thinking, “Dude, you’re at the beach! Chill!” But nope, they’re going at it. I’m just standing there, awkwardly sipping my drink, trying not to eavesdrop. Finally, we wrap up the day. I’m exhausted but happy. Ustka’s got this charm, you know? The mix of history, the beach, and the quirky moments. I’m driving home, and I can’t help but smile. Sure, it was chaotic, but that’s what makes it memorable. So yeah, Ustka, you’ve got my heart. Even with the seagulls and the sandcastle drama. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
