Man, what a day! I swear, being a vet in Ustron is like riding a rollercoaster with no seatbelt. So, I roll into the clinic on ul. Zdrojowa, coffee in hand, ready to tackle whatever comes my way. Spoiler alert: it was a lot. First off, I get a call about a dog named Max. Poor dude ate a whole pizza. Like, who gives their dog pizza? Anyway, I rush over to the owner’s place on ul. Cicha. I’m thinking, “This better not be a prank.” But nope, there’s Max, looking all guilty and bloated. I mean, I get it, pizza’s delish, but c’mon, man! So, I’m trying to get him to throw up. You know, the usual vet stuff. And while I’m doing that, I hear this loud noise outside. Turns out, it’s a bunch of kids playing soccer on ul. Leśna. They’re yelling and laughing, and I’m like, “Can you keep it down? I’m trying to save a dog here!” But honestly, it was kinda cute. Kids and their energy, right? After Max finally hurls, I’m feeling pretty good. Like, “Yeah, I saved a life today!” But then, I get a call about a cat stuck in a tree. Seriously? This is Ustron, not a cartoon! I drive over to ul. Główna, and there’s this fluffy tabby, just chilling on a branch, looking down at me like I’m the idiot. I’m like, “Dude, you climbed up there. You can come down!” But no, this cat’s got other plans. I end up calling the fire department. Yeah, I know, I’m a vet, not a firefighter, but desperate times, right? They show up, and I’m just standing there, feeling like a total loser. But hey, at least I got to chat with the firefighters. They’re cool guys, and they made fun of me for needing help with a cat. Whatever, man. Finally, they get the cat down, and I’m like, “Great, now I can go grab lunch.” But nope! I get a call about a rabbit with a broken leg. Ugh! I’m starting to think the universe is testing me. I zoom over to ul. Słowackiego, and there’s this little bunny, all sad and stuff. I fix him up, but I’m running out of time. I had plans to hit up that new café on ul. 3 Maja. So, I rush through the paperwork, and just as I’m about to leave, I get a text from my buddy. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe what happened!” I’m thinking, “I’ve had enough surprises for one day!” But curiosity gets the best of me. Turns out, he found a lost dog and is bringing it to me. Great, just what I need! By the time I finally get to the café, it’s closing. I’m starving and cranky. I order a slice of cake, and the barista gives me this look like I’m a total mess. I mean, I am, but c’mon! I just saved a bunch of animals today! As I sit there, I can’t help but laugh. Ustron is wild, man. One minute, I’m saving a dog from pizza, and the next, I’m rescuing a cat from a tree. It’s chaotic, but it’s my chaos. I love this city, with its beautiful mountains and rivers. It’s home. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Ustron, you crazy little town, you keep me on my toes!
