Man, what a day in Wieruszów! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up ul. Wojska Polskiego for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my latte, and this dude in front of me orders, like, a 5-layer caramel macchiato with extra foam. I’m just like, “Bro, it’s 8 AM, not a dessert shop!” But whatever, I’m not here to judge. Finally, I get my coffee, and I’m feeling all fancy. I stroll down ul. 1 Maja, soaking in the vibes. Wieruszów is so cute, with its little shops and all. But then, BAM! I step in a puddle. Like, who even left that there? My shoes are soaked, and I’m already fuming. I keep walking, trying to shake it off. I pass by the park near ul. Sienkiewicza. It’s usually peaceful, but today? Nah. There’s a bunch of kids screaming and running around. I mean, I get it, kids are loud, but c’mon! Can’t a Saver get some peace? Then, I see this old lady feeding pigeons. She’s got, like, a whole army of them. I’m thinking, “Lady, you’re gonna get swarmed!” And guess what? She does! Pigeons everywhere! It’s like a scene from a horror movie. I’m laughing, but also kinda worried for her. After that, I decide to hit up the market on ul. Kaliska. I’m looking for some fresh veggies. I’m all about that healthy life, you know? But the prices are insane! I’m like, “Is this organic gold or what?” I mean, I love Wieruszów, but sometimes it feels like I’m being robbed. So, I’m grumbling to myself, and then I bump into my buddy, Piotr. He’s all smiles, and I’m like, “Dude, you won’t believe my day.” He just laughs and says, “At least you’re not stuck in traffic on ul. Łaskotna!” And I’m like, “True, but still!” We decide to grab lunch at this little spot on ul. Główna. The food is bomb, but the service? Ugh. We wait forever! I’m about to lose it. Finally, our food arrives, and it’s worth the wait. I mean, who knew Wieruszów had such good pierogi? After lunch, I’m feeling a bit better. I wander over to the old church on ul. Kościelna. It’s beautiful, and I just sit there for a minute, soaking it all in. But then, this random guy starts playing the accordion outside. It’s kinda nice, but also super loud. I’m torn between enjoying the music and wanting to tell him to chill. As the day goes on, I’m just bouncing around Wieruszów, feeling all the feels. I’m happy, I’m annoyed, I’m surprised. It’s like a rollercoaster. I even stop by the river, and it’s so peaceful there. I take a deep breath and think, “Okay, maybe today wasn’t so bad after all.” But then, I see a dog chasing a cat. And not just any dog—a huge one! It’s like a scene from a cartoon. The cat is climbing a tree, and the dog is barking like crazy. I’m dying laughing. Wieruszów, man. You never know what you’re gonna get. Finally, I head home, exhausted but kinda happy. I think about all the little things that made my day wild. Wieruszów is my jam, even with its puddles and crazy kids. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
