Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a barber in Wisła is like riding a rollercoaster. So, I roll into the shop on ul. 1 Maja, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First client walks in. This dude, I swear, he’s got hair like a lion. I mean, I love a good mane, but c’mon! I’m like, “Bro, you need a trim, not a safari!” He laughs, but I’m serious. So, I get to work, and halfway through, the power goes out. Just my luck, right? I’m there, scissors in hand, and it’s pitch black. I’m like, “Great, now I’m a barber in a horror movie.” But then, the lights flicker back on. Phew! I finish up, and the dude looks fresh. He’s happy, I’m happy. But then he drops a bomb. “Hey, can you do a design?” I’m like, “A design? In Wisła? You mean like a mountain range or something?” He wants a dragon. A freakin’ dragon! I’m like, “Dude, I’m a barber, not a tattoo artist!” But I give it a shot. It’s not perfect, but he loves it. I’m just glad I didn’t accidentally give him a chicken instead. Next up, a lady walks in. She’s all about that “I just came from the spa” vibe. You know the type. She sits down, and I’m thinkin’, “This is gonna be easy.” But then she starts talking about her cat, Miauśka. I’m like, “Cool, cool, but I’m here to cut hair, not listen to cat stories.” But she’s relentless. “Miauśka loves the snow in Wisła!” I’m nodding, but inside I’m like, “Lady, I’m in a hurry!” Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Kuba bursts in. He’s all outta breath, like he just ran a marathon. “Dude, you won’t believe it! There’s a snowball fight on ul. Lipowa!” I’m like, “What? Right now?” He’s dragging me out, and I’m still in my apron. But hey, who can resist a snowball fight? So, we dash over, and it’s chaos! Kids, adults, everyone’s throwing snow like it’s the end of the world. I grab a handful and launch it at Kuba. Missed. Totally missed. But then, a kid hits me right in the face! I’m laughing, but also, I’m like, “You little rascal!” After the snowball madness, I head back to the shop. I’m soaked, but it’s all good. I’ve got a few more clients. One guy comes in, and he’s got this wild idea. “Can you give me a mullet?” I’m like, “A mullet? In 2023?” But hey, who am I to judge? I give him the mullet, and he’s pumped. I’m just thinking, “What’s next? A mohawk?” Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted but happy. Wisła’s got this vibe, ya know? The mountains, the river, the people. It’s like a little slice of heaven. I’m packing up, and I see the sunset over the Wisła River. It’s beautiful. I take a moment, just me and the view. Then, I head to my favorite spot, a little café on ul. Księcia Władysława. I grab a coffee, and the barista knows my order. “You again?” she smirks. I’m like, “Yeah, I need my fix!” We laugh, and I’m just grateful for days like this. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Wisła, where the mountains meet the haircuts!
