Man, what a day in Włocławek! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on 3 Maja Street. You know, the one with the weirdly good croissants? I’m all set to grab my usual, but guess what? They’re out! Like, how do you run out of croissants in the morning? I’m standing there, all grumpy, thinking, “This is how my day starts?” So, I settle for a dry muffin. Ugh. Then, I head to my webcam studio. It’s on Sienkiewicza Street, right in the heart of the city. I’m thinking, “Let’s make some magic happen today!” But nooo, my computer decides to throw a tantrum. It crashes. Like, full-on blue screen of death. I’m sweating bullets, cursing like a sailor. “Why today, of all days?” I’m practically begging it to work. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, it boots up. I’m like, “Phew, crisis averted.” But then, I get a call from my buddy, Tomek. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe this!” I’m thinking, “What now?” Turns out, there’s a huge street fair happening on the other side of town, near the Vistula Boulevards. I’m like, “Why am I stuck here?” So, I decide to take a break. I grab my stuff and head out. The vibe at the fair is insane! Music blasting, people dancing, food stalls everywhere. I’m talking pierogi, kebabs, you name it. I’m in heaven. I grab a zapiekanka, and it’s like a party in my mouth. But then, I see this guy juggling fire. I’m like, “What the heck?” He drops one, and it almost hits a kid. I’m laughing, but also like, “Dude, chill!” The kid’s fine, but I’m just standing there, shaking my head. Włocławek, man. Always keeping it interesting. After stuffing my face, I head back to the studio. I’m feeling good, right? But then, I get a message from a client. They’re like, “Can we reschedule?” I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” I just got my groove back! But whatever, I roll with it. Later, I’m walking down the streets, just soaking it all in. The old buildings, the river, the vibe. Włocławek has this charm, you know? I pass by the Cathedral of the Assumption and just stop. It’s beautiful. I’m thinking, “This city has seen so much.” But then, I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me, right? I’m laughing at myself, like, “Really? You can’t even walk?” I get up, dust myself off, and keep going. As the sun sets, I’m back at the café. This time, I get a proper croissant. It’s warm and flaky, and I’m like, “Finally!” I sit outside, watching the world go by. People laughing, kids playing, life happening. And just like that, my crazy day in Włocławek wraps up. I’m exhausted but happy. This city, man. It’s wild, it’s beautiful, and it’s home. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
