Man, what a day! I swear, Włodawa really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m a stove-maker, right? Yeah, I know, not the most glamorous gig, but hey, someone’s gotta keep the heat on, literally! So, I wake up, ready to tackle the day. I’m thinking, “Today’s the day I finally finish that custom stove for Mrs. Kowalska on ul. 1 Maja.” She’s been waiting forever, and I’m like, “C’mon, lady, I got your back!” But first, I gotta grab some coffee. I hit up that little café on ul. Lubelska. Best coffee in town, no joke. I order my usual, a double espresso, and the barista, bless her heart, spills it all over the counter. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed!” After that little fiasco, I’m off to the workshop. It’s on ul. Słowackiego, right by the river. Beautiful spot, but man, the mosquitoes are relentless! I swear they’re plotting against me. Anyway, I get to work, and I’m feeling good. I’m hammering away, shaping metal like a boss. But then, outta nowhere, my buddy Tomek shows up. He’s all like, “Dude, you gotta see this!” Turns out, there’s a festival happening at the park by ul. Wojska Polskiego. I’m like, “A festival? Right now? I can’t just leave my stove!” But Tomek’s got that look in his eyes, you know? The “you only live once” look. So, I’m like, “Fine, let’s go check it out.” We get there, and it’s packed! Food stalls, music, people dancing like they’re in a movie. I’m feeling the vibe, man. I grab some pierogi, and they’re heavenly. I’m talking melt-in-your-mouth goodness. But then, I see this guy trying to juggle fire. I’m like, “Dude, you’re gonna burn your eyebrows off!” And guess what? He drops a flaming stick right in front of me. I jump back like a cat on a hot tin roof. After that little scare, I’m back to the workshop. I’m trying to focus, but my mind’s still on the festival. I’m thinking about how Włodawa is such a cool place. The mix of history and modern life is wild. Like, you got the old church on ul. Kościelna, and then you got these hipster cafés popping up everywhere. It’s like a time warp, but in a good way. So, I’m back at it, and I finally finish Mrs. Kowalska’s stove. It’s a beauty! I’m feeling proud, like I just won the lottery. I load it up and head to her place. But when I get there, she’s not home! I’m standing there, holding this massive stove, and I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” I wait for what feels like forever. Finally, she shows up, and she’s all flustered. Turns out, she was at the festival too! I’m like, “Lady, you could’ve told me!” But she’s super happy to see the stove, and I’m like, “Okay, all is forgiven.” As I’m leaving, I bump into some old friends from high school. We start reminiscing about the good ol’ days, and I’m laughing so hard I almost drop my tools. Włodawa really brings people together, you know? By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but happy. I’ve had my share of surprises, laughs, and a bit of chaos. Włodawa, you crazy little town, you never fail to keep me on my toes! I head home, thinking about tomorrow. Who knows what’s in store? But one thing’s for sure, I wouldn’t trade this life for anything.
