Man, today was a wild ride in Aguada! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I hit the streets of Aguada, feeling all pumped. First stop? La Playa de Aguada. The sun was shining, waves crashing, and I was ready to soak it all in. But then, bam! I step on a jellyfish. Like, seriously? Who puts jellyfish on the beach? I was hopping around like a crazy person, yelling, “What the heck?!” After that little drama, I decided to grab some food. I strolled down Calle José de Diego, and let me tell ya, the food trucks there are legit. I got a mofongo that was so good, I almost cried. Like, I’m not even exaggerating. It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. But then, I spilled it all over my shirt. Classic me, right? Then, I thought, “Let’s go check out the Aguada Lighthouse.” I mean, who doesn’t love a good view? I hiked up there, and wow, the view was insane! You could see the whole coast. But then, outta nowhere, a seagull swoops down and snatches my fries! I’m standing there, mouth agape, like, “Did that just happen?” I swear, that bird had a vendetta against me. After that, I was like, “Okay, let’s chill.” So, I headed to Plaza de Recreo. It’s this cute little park where everyone hangs out. I plopped down on a bench, trying to gather my thoughts. But then, this kid runs by, playing tag, and totally knocks my drink over. I was like, “Dude, chill!” But he just laughed and ran off. Kids, man. Then, I met up with my buddy, Carlos. We decided to hit up a local bar on Calle Betances. The vibe was lit! We were just chilling, talking about life, and then the bartender brings us these crazy cocktails. I mean, they had like, 10 different colors. I took a sip, and it was like drinking a rainbow. But then, I realized I was way too tipsy. Oops! As the sun started to set, we walked along the coast. The sky was painted in pinks and oranges. It was beautiful, but then I tripped over a rock. Classic! I fell right into the sand. I was laughing so hard, I couldn’t breathe. Carlos was dying next to me. Finally, we ended the night at a food stand on Avenida José de Diego. I got a burger that was bigger than my face. I mean, who even eats that much? But I did. And it was glorious. So yeah, Aguada was a rollercoaster today. From jellyfish to seagulls to falling in the sand, it was a day full of surprises. I love this place, even when it drives me nuts. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
