Man, today was a wild ride in Cataño. Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day, ya know? But nah, life had other plans. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, and the sun’s blazin’ through my window. I’m like, “Great, another hot day in Cataño.” I grab my coffee from the corner café on Calle 25 de Julio. Best coffee ever, by the way. I swear, it’s like liquid gold. I hop on my bike, ready to hit the streets. First stop? The waterfront. You know, the one by the Parque de las Ciencias? It’s usually chill, but today? Nah, it was packed. Families, kids, dogs—like a scene from a movie. I’m dodging strollers and trying not to spill my coffee. Then, outta nowhere, I see this dude trying to juggle. I’m like, “Really, bro? Juggling in the middle of a crowd?” But then he drops a ball, and it rolls right to me. I pick it up, and he’s all, “Thanks, man!” I’m like, “No prob, just keep it away from my coffee!” After that, I decide to cruise down Avenida de la Constitución. The traffic was insane! Cars honking, people yelling. I’m just trying to get to my next gig, right? And then, boom! I see this street vendor selling empanadillas. I can’t resist. I stop, grab a couple, and they’re hot and crispy. Best decision ever. But then, I’m munching on these empanadillas, and I see this lady arguing with a guy. Turns out, he parked his car on her spot. Classic Cataño drama! I’m just standing there, eating, thinking, “This is better than TV.” Finally, I get to my job site. It’s on Calle San Juan, and let me tell ya, the view of the bay is sick. But today? The boss is in a mood. He’s all stressed about some shipment. I’m like, “Chill, man. We got this.” But he’s pacing like a caged animal. Then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. Just like that! I’m standing there in the dark, and I’m like, “Great, just great.” Everyone’s grumbling, and I’m trying to lighten the mood. I start telling jokes, but no one’s laughing. Tough crowd, man. After what felt like forever, the lights flicker back on. Everyone cheers, and I’m like, “See? I told ya we’d survive!” But then, the boss is still stressed. I’m thinking, “Dude, it’s just a shipment. We’ll figure it out.” Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted but happy. I ride back home, taking the long way through Calle de la Playa. The sunset over the water is gorgeous. I stop to take a pic, and I’m like, “This is why I love Cataño.” So yeah, today was a rollercoaster. From juggling dudes to empanadillas and power outages, it was anything but boring. Just another day in Cataño, I guess. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
