Yo, lemme tell ya about my day in Moca, PR. Man, it was a wild ride, like a rollercoaster but with more potholes. So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally ghosted me. I jumped outta bed, threw on some clothes, and bolted out the door. First stop? La Plaza de Moca. You know, that spot where everyone hangs out? I needed my café con leche fix. I hit up this little joint on Calle José de Diego. The barista, she’s like a magician with that coffee. I swear, one sip and I was ready to conquer the world. Or at least, the block. But then, bam! I step outside, and it’s pouring. Like, seriously? I just got my hair did. I’m dodging puddles like I’m in a video game. I’m soaked, and my mood? Not great. I’m thinking, “Why, Moca, why?” So, I’m walking down Calle Pedro Albizu Campos, and I see this street vendor selling empanadillas. I mean, who can resist that? I grab one, and it’s like a flavor explosion in my mouth. Happiness level: 100. But then, I drop it. Yup, right on the ground. I’m standing there, staring at my fallen treasure like it’s a crime scene. After that, I needed a pick-me-up. I decided to hit up the Parque de los Próceres. It’s a chill spot, ya know? I plopped down on a bench, trying to dry off. I see this kid flying a kite, and I’m like, “Dude, that’s goals.” I used to fly kites all the time. But then, the wind picks up, and the kite crashes. I’m laughing, but also feeling for the kid. Then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Carlos. He’s like, “Yo, let’s hit up the beach!” I’m thinking, “Beach? In this weather?” But hey, why not? So, I hop on a guagua, and we’re off to the coast. We get to the beach, and it’s still drizzling. But the vibe? Totally chill. We set up our spot, and I’m just vibing. Then, Carlos pulls out a speaker, and we blast some reggaeton. Suddenly, it’s a party! People start dancing, and I’m like, “This is what life’s about!” But then, the rain gets serious. Like, it’s a full-on monsoon now. Everyone’s scrambling, packing up. I’m laughing so hard, I can’t breathe. We’re all soaked, but who cares? We’re making memories, right? Finally, we head back to Moca, drenched but happy. I’m thinking about how crazy this day was. From coffee to empanadillas to a beach party in the rain. Moca, you never cease to amaze me. As I’m walking home, I pass by the Iglesia San Antonio. It’s lit up, and I just stop for a sec. I’m feeling grateful, ya know? Life’s messy, but it’s beautiful. So yeah, that was my day in Moca. Full of ups and downs, but mostly just a blast. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
