Man, lemme tell ya about my day in Toa-Baja. Woke up, sun blazin’ through my window. I’m a shepherd, right? But today, I felt more like a lost sheep. First off, I hit up Calle 1. You know, the one with all the food trucks? I was like, “Yo, I need some breakfast!” Got me a pastelón that was bigger than my head. Seriously, I thought I was gonna need a forklift to carry it. But man, it was delish! Then, I decided to stroll down to the beach. Playa de Toa-Baja, baby! The waves were crashin’, and I was feelin’ good. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, kickin’ a soccer ball. I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But nah, he just laughs and keeps goin’. I swear, kids these days have no fear. So, I’m chillin’ on the sand, right? Just me and my thoughts. I start thinkin’ about my sheep. They’re probably munchin’ on grass, livin’ their best life. I miss ‘em, ya know? But then, I hear this loud music. Like, what the heck? I look up, and there’s a party on Calle 2. People dancin’, drinkin’, havin’ a blast. I’m like, “Why wasn’t I invited?” I get up, head over there. Turns out, it’s a block party! Everyone’s vibin’, and I’m just standin’ there like a lost puppy. But then, this lady comes up to me. She’s like, “You look like you need a drink!” I’m like, “You read my mind!” So, she hands me a piña colada. Best thing ever! But then, I see my buddy Carlos. He’s tryin’ to impress some girl. He’s doin’ this ridiculous dance. I’m talkin’ full-on salsa moves, but he looks like a chicken. I can’t help but laugh. I mean, come on, Carlos! After a while, I’m feelin’ good, right? But then, I get a call. It’s my neighbor. “Yo, your sheep are out!” I’m like, “What?!” Panic mode activated. I sprint back to my truck, dodgin’ people like I’m in a video game. I get to my place, and sure enough, my sheep are just chillin’ in the neighbor’s yard. Like, really? You guys couldn’t stay put? I’m chasin’ them around like a madman. “Get back here!” I’m yellin’. Finally, I wrangle them up. But I’m so outta breath. I sit down on the grass, and I’m like, “What a day.” I can’t believe I went from beach vibes to sheep wranglin’ in like two hours. As the sun sets, I’m thinkin’ about how wild life is. One minute you’re eatin’ pastelón, the next you’re chasin’ sheep. Toa-Baja, man. It’s got its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, I head back to the beach one last time. The sky’s all pink and orange. I take a deep breath, and I’m like, “Tomorrow’s another day.” And who knows? Maybe I’ll finally get that invite to the block party.
