Man, today was a wild ride in Abrantes! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I hit the streets early, like around 8 AM. The sun was shining, and I was feeling good. I strolled down Rua da Liberdade, vibin’ to my playlist. Abrantes is such a chill place, with those cobblestone streets and all. But then, BAM! I stepped in a puddle. Seriously? Who leaves a puddle there? My shoes were soaked. Great start, right? I was on my way to check out some new merch for the shop. I had this killer idea for a summer collection. But first, I needed coffee. Like, life juice, ya know? So, I popped into this cute café on Rua 1º de Maio. The barista was super chill, but the coffee took forever. I mean, c’mon! I could’ve brewed it myself in less time. Finally got my caffeine fix, and it was worth the wait. Best espresso ever! Then, I headed to the market at Praça da República. Man, that place is always buzzing! Fresh fruits, veggies, and all the local goodies. I was eyeing some ripe tomatoes when I bumped into my old buddy Miguel. We started chatting, and he told me about this new restaurant opening up near the castle. I was like, “Dude, I’m in!” But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and lands on my shoulder. I freaked out! Like, what the heck? I’m not a bird person! Miguel was cracking up, and I was just standing there, trying to shoo it away. Finally, it flew off, but not before leaving a little “gift” on my shirt. Ugh, so gross! After that, I was like, “Okay, let’s get back to business.” I headed to the shop on Avenida da Liberdade. The owner, Ana, is a total legend. She always has the best ideas. We brainstormed for hours, and I was feeling pumped about the new collection. But then, she dropped a bombshell. “We might have to raise prices.” WHAT? I mean, I get it, but c’mon! People are already struggling. I left the shop feeling a bit deflated. I decided to take a walk by the Tagus River. The view is stunning, especially at sunset. I sat on a bench, just watching the water flow. It’s moments like that that make me love Abrantes. But then, I saw a couple arguing nearby. Like, really? Can’t you keep it down? I’m trying to enjoy my moment here! As the sun started to set, I felt a mix of emotions. Happy, sad, frustrated. It’s like Abrantes has this way of throwing everything at you in one day. I headed back home, thinking about all the ups and downs. And then, just when I thought the day was over, I tripped on the sidewalk. Classic! I laughed it off, though. I mean, what else can you do? Life’s too short to take it seriously, right? So yeah, that was my day in Abrantes. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
