OMG, what a day! Seriously, Algueirão, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First stop, Avenida da Liberdade. I’m thinking, “Let’s hit up that cute little boutique.” You know the one, right? The one with the funky window displays? Yeah, that one. I stroll in, and boom! The owner, Maria, is having a meltdown. Like, full-on drama. Apparently, her delivery of those killer shoes got lost. I mean, c’mon! Who loses shoes? I felt her pain, but also, I was like, “Girl, I need those shoes for my client!” So, I’m trying to calm her down, right? I’m like, “Hey, let’s just grab a coffee at Café Central on Rua da Estação.” Coffee fixes everything, am I right? But no, she’s too busy crying over her lost shipment. I’m standing there, awkwardly sipping my espresso, thinking, “This is NOT how I planned my day.” Finally, I manage to drag her out. We hit the café, and I’m like, “Okay, Maria, spill the tea.” She tells me about her crazy ex who’s now dating some influencer. I’m like, “Girl, you’re better off without him!” But inside, I’m just thinking, “I need to get back to work!” After that, I rush over to Rua da Escola. I’ve got a client waiting for a fitting. I’m sprinting, dodging people like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. I get there, and guess what? My client is late. Ugh! I’m fuming. I could’ve been at home binge-watching my fave show instead of waiting here. When she finally shows up, she’s all flustered. Turns out, she got stuck in traffic on the IC19. I mean, who doesn’t know that road is a nightmare? I’m like, “Girl, plan better!” But whatever, we get to the fitting. She tries on this stunning dress from that new shop on Rua do Comércio. It’s like magic! She looks fab, and I’m feeling all proud. But then, she’s like, “I don’t know, it’s too much.” I’m like, “Too much? Honey, you look like a queen!” But she’s not having it. I’m trying to convince her, and it’s like talking to a brick wall. I’m about to lose it. Finally, she decides to buy it. Phew! I’m relieved. But then, she’s like, “Can you help me find shoes?” I’m like, “Sure, but remember Maria’s drama?” So, we head to Rua da Liberdade again. Guess what? The shop is closed! I’m ready to scream. I’m like, “What is this, a joke?” But then, I spot a little pop-up shop nearby. It’s got the cutest stuff! I’m talking sparkly heels, funky bags, the works. I drag her in, and she’s loving it. We find the perfect shoes, and I’m feeling like a hero. But then, I realize I’ve lost track of time. I’m late for my next appointment! I dash out, and my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, João, asking if I wanna grab dinner. I’m like, “Dude, I’m swamped!” But then I think, “Why not? I deserve a break.” So, I meet him at that little place on Rua do Mercado. The food is bomb! I’m finally relaxing, laughing about the day’s chaos. João’s cracking jokes, and I’m just grateful to be off my feet. But then, I get a text from my client. She’s freaking out about the dress. I’m like, “Seriously?!” I can’t even. I tell João, and he’s like, “You’re a personal shopping assistant, not a therapist!” And I’m like, “You’re not wrong, but still!” By the end of the night, I’m exhausted but happy. Algueirão, you’ve thrown me through the wringer today. But I love you for it. You keep me on my toes, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s to more crazy days in this wild city!
