Man, what a day! I swear, being a shepherd in Apulia-e-Fao is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I head down Rua da Liberdade. You know, the one with all the cute cafés? I’m just tryna grab a coffee, but the barista, bless her heart, spills half a cup on me. Like, c’mon! I’m a shepherd, not a mop! I’m soaked in espresso, and I’m like, “Great start, dude.” Then, I’m walking past the market on Praça da República. The smell of fresh bread hits me. I’m drooling, right? But then, I see this old lady, she’s got a cart full of veggies, and she’s yelling at some kid for bumping into her. I’m thinkin’, “Lady, chill! It’s just a kid!” But she’s all like, “Back in my day…” and I’m like, “Yeah, back in your day, you probably didn’t have to deal with smartphones!” Anyway, I finally get to the fields. My sheep are just chillin’, munchin’ grass like they own the place. I’m tryin’ to count them, but they’re all over the place. I’m like, “Hey, guys! Stay put!” But they’re not listening. Typical sheep, right? Then, outta nowhere, this big ol’ dog comes charging at me. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just what I need!” But turns out, it’s just a friendly pup. He’s wagging his tail like he’s just won the lottery. I’m like, “Dude, you scared me!” But I can’t help but laugh. Later, I’m sittin’ on a rock, just chillin’, when I see this couple arguing on Rua da Escola. They’re going at it, and I’m like, “Man, love is wild.” I mean, I get it, relationships can be tough. But c’mon, not in public! I’m just tryna enjoy my day, not be a referee. Then, the sky starts to change. Dark clouds roll in, and I’m like, “Oh no, not now!” I can feel the rain comin’. I rush to gather my sheep, but they’re still munchin’ away. I’m yelling, “Guys, we gotta move!” But they’re like, “Nah, we’re good.” Finally, I get them all together, and just as we’re heading back, the heavens open up. It’s pouring! I’m soaked again, but at least the sheep are finally moving. I’m sprinting down Avenida da Liberdade, dodging puddles like I’m in some kind of Olympic event. When I finally get home, I’m exhausted. I flop down on my couch, and I’m like, “What a day!” I can’t believe I survived. I mean, Apulia-e-Fao is beautiful, but man, it can be a handful! So, I’m sittin’ there, thinkin’ about all the craziness. I’m happy, I’m angry, I’m just… everything. But that’s life, right? Full of surprises. And tomorrow? Who knows what’ll happen! But I’m ready for it. Bring it on, Apulia-e-Fao!
