Man, what a day! I swear, being a swineherd in Belas is no joke. I woke up this morning, sun shining through my window on Rua da Liberdade. Thought it was gonna be chill, ya know? Just me and my pigs, living the dream. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I head to the market on Avenida da República. I’m just trying to sell some of my best pork. You know, the juicy stuff. But then, outta nowhere, this guy bumps into me. I spill my whole basket of chouriço! Like, seriously? Who taught you to walk, bro? I was fuming! I mean, that’s my livelihood, man! Then, I see this cute girl at the stall next to me. She’s selling fresh veggies. I’m like, “Hey, wanna trade some chouriço for a nice tomato?” She laughs, and I’m thinking, “Score!” But then, she tells me she’s vegan. Ugh, my heart sank. I mean, c’mon! Who doesn’t love a good chouriço? After that, I decide to take a stroll down Rua da Escola. It’s a nice street, full of life. Kids playing, old folks chatting. But then, I see this group of teenagers. They’re blasting music, dancing like they’re in a music video. I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s not a party!” But then, I can’t help but smile. They’re having fun, and honestly, I miss those carefree days. So, I keep walking, and I hit up the park near the Belas Clube de Campo. It’s beautiful there, man. Trees everywhere, birds singing. I sit down on a bench, just trying to catch my breath. But then, I see a dog running around. It’s chasing a squirrel, and I’m cracking up. Like, that dog thinks it’s a lion or something. But then, outta nowhere, it runs straight into my leg! I’m like, “Whoa, buddy! Personal space!” The owner comes running, apologizing like crazy. I’m just laughing it off, but inside, I’m like, “This day is wild!” Later, I decide to grab a bite at this little café on Rua do Comércio. I order a bifana, and let me tell ya, it was heavenly! But then, the waiter spills coffee all over my shirt. I’m sitting there, looking like a mess. I mean, can’t a swineherd catch a break? By the time I head back home, I’m exhausted. I walk through the streets of Belas, and I can’t help but feel grateful. Yeah, it was a crazy day, but it’s my life. I love this place. The people, the vibe, even the chaos. As I finally get home, I look at my pigs. They’re just chilling, snorting away. I laugh and think, “At least you guys don’t spill coffee.” And that’s when I realize, no matter how wild it gets, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Belas, you crazy, but I love ya!
