Man, what a day! Seriously, Canidelo, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m a dental tech, so my day usually involves teeth, teeth, and more teeth. But today? Oh boy. I’m cruising down Rua da Alegria, thinking about my morning coffee. I stop at this little café, you know, the one near the park? Can’t remember the name, but they make the best pastéis de nata. I grab one, and boom! I spill coffee all over my shirt. Great start, right? I’m standing there, looking like a walking disaster. Then, I get to the lab on Rua de São Pedro. My boss is already in a mood. He’s like, “Where’s the new mold?” I’m like, “Dude, chill. I’m on it.” But inside, I’m screaming. I mean, it’s not like I can just pull teeth outta thin air! So, I’m working on this denture for a client. Let’s call her Mrs. Silva. She’s sweet, but man, she’s got a million requests. “Make it whiter! Make it shinier!” I’m like, “Lady, it’s not a car!” But I smile and nod. Gotta keep the peace, right? Then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy Miguel. He’s like, “Yo, meet me at the beach later!” I’m thinking, “Beach? I’m knee-deep in acrylic here!” But I can’t resist. I mean, who says no to a beach day in Canidelo? Fast forward a few hours. I finally finish Mrs. Silva’s denture. It’s not perfect, but it’ll do. I rush outta the lab, and guess what? It starts pouring! Like, seriously? I’m soaked in seconds. I’m sprinting down Rua da Praia, dodging puddles like I’m in some weird obstacle course. I finally make it to the beach, and Miguel’s there, laughing at my drenched self. “Nice look, bro!” he says. I roll my eyes. But then, we hit the sand, and it’s all good. The waves are crashing, and I forget about the crazy day. We’re chilling, and suddenly, I see this group of kids playing soccer. They’re wild! One kid kicks the ball, and it flies right at me. I’m like, “No way!” I duck, but it hits Miguel instead. He’s covered in sand now. We both burst out laughing. But then, outta nowhere, this old guy starts yelling at the kids. “Hey! Watch where you’re kicking that thing!” I’m thinking, “Chill, grandpa! It’s just a game!” But he’s relentless. I mean, come on! It’s Canidelo! Kids gotta have fun, right? As the sun sets, I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised. It’s like a rollercoaster. I look at the horizon, and it hits me. This place, with its crazy streets and wild people, it’s home. So, yeah, Canidelo, you’ve got your quirks. But I wouldn’t trade this day for anything. Even with the coffee stains and the soccer balls. Here’s to more wild days ahead!
