Man, today was a wild ride in Foz-do-Sousa! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, still half-asleep, and I’m like, “Let’s grab a coffee at that little spot on Rua da Alegria.” Best coffee in town, no cap. But guess what? They were outta my fave blend! I mean, seriously? How do you run outta coffee? I was ready to throw a fit. After that caffeine disaster, I decided to take a stroll by the river. The Douro was lookin’ all sparkly and stuff. I thought, “Okay, maybe today won’t be so bad.” But then, outta nowhere, this dog runs up to me, all muddy and excited. I’m like, “Dude, chill!” But he jumps on me, and I’m covered in mud. Great. Just great. I’m tryin’ to clean up when I bump into this old lady on Avenida da Liberdade. She’s got this huge bag of bread rolls. I’m thinkin’, “What’s up with that?” Turns out, she’s feeding the ducks. I mean, who even does that? But she’s so sweet, I can’t help but smile. She offers me a roll, and I’m like, “Sure, why not?” So, I’m munching on this bread, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Then, I head over to the park, Parque de Foz, right? It’s usually my go-to spot for inspiration. But today, it’s packed! Kids are screaming, dogs are barking, and I’m just tryna find a quiet corner. Finally, I find a bench, and I sit down, ready to sketch some textures. But guess what? My pencil breaks! Ugh! I’m like, “Really? Is this how it’s gonna be?” I’m about to lose it when I see this street performer on Rua da Praia. He’s juggling fire! Like, who does that? I’m just sittin’ there, mouth agape, watching him almost set his hair on fire. It’s hilarious and terrifying at the same time. I can’t help but laugh. After that, I decide to hit up the local market on Rua do Comércio. I’m lookin’ for some fresh veggies for dinner. But the prices are insane! I mean, who knew tomatoes could cost an arm and a leg? I’m just tryna eat healthy here! Finally, I head home, exhausted but kinda happy. I plop down on my couch, and I’m like, “What a day!” I can’t believe all the craziness that went down. Foz-do-Sousa, you never fail to surprise me. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, mud and bread rolls, fire jugglers and overpriced tomatoes. Just another day in the life of a texture artist, I guess!
