Man, what a day! I swear, Galegos is wild. I woke up, sun blarin’ through my window on Rua da Alegria. Thought it was gonna be chill, ya know? Just me and my raft, floatin’ down the river. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit the café on Avenida de Santiago. Best coffee in town, no cap. I ordered my usual, a bica, and the barista, Maria, she’s always got that smile. But today? She spilled half my drink! I was like, “C’mon, Maria! I need this!” But she laughed it off, said it was a sign I needed to wake up. I mean, she’s not wrong, but still! So, I’m outta there, tryin’ to shake off the coffee drama. I head down to the river, right by the Parque da Cidade. The water’s lookin’ nice, but then I see this group of tourists. They’re takin’ selfies like they’re in a movie or somethin’. I’m just tryin’ to do my thing, but they keep photobombing me! Like, dude, I’m not part of your Instagram story! Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, kicks a ball, and BAM! Hits me right in the leg. I’m like, “What the heck, kid?” But he just giggles and runs off. I can’t even be mad. Kids are wild, man. I finally get to my raft, and it’s lookin’ a bit worse for wear. Some graffiti on the side, but hey, it’s character, right? I push off, and the river’s flowin’ smooth. I’m cruisin’, feelin’ good, when I spot this old man on the bank. He’s tryin’ to fish, but his line’s all tangled. I shout, “Need a hand, amigo?” He just waves me off. Classic! But then, the weather turns. Outta nowhere, dark clouds roll in. I’m like, “Seriously?!” I paddle faster, but the rain hits hard. I’m soaked, laughin’ at the absurdity of it all. Galegos weather, man. One minute it’s sunny, next it’s a monsoon. I finally make it back to the dock, drenched but alive. I’m thinkin’ about grabbin’ a drink at the bar on Rua do Comércio. But then I see my buddy, Tiago. He’s got this wild look in his eyes. Turns out, he just won a local fishing contest! I’m like, “Dude, you’re a legend!” We celebrate with some beers, and I forget all about the crazy day. As the sun sets, the city lights up. Galegos is beautiful at night. The streets are alive, people laughin’, music playin’. I’m feelin’ grateful, ya know? Even with all the madness, this city has a vibe. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Just gotta roll with it, like my raft on the river. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
