Man, lemme tell ya about my day. I’m a bouncer, right? And today was just... wow. Lagos, Portugal, is wild, man. Like, you think you know chaos? Nah, you don’t. So, I roll up to the club on Rua 25 de Abril. It’s already packed. I’m talkin’ like sardines in a can. People everywhere, music blasting. I’m just tryna keep it cool, ya know? But then, boom! This dude tries to sneak in. Like, bro, I see you! I’m not blind! I’m like, “Oi, mate! Where do you think you’re going?” He just stares at me, all wide-eyed. I swear, I could see the panic. I mean, c’mon, it’s not like I’m a ghost. I’m 6’4” and built like a fridge. Then, outta nowhere, this girl starts yelling. She’s on the other side of the street, near Praça do Infante Dom Henrique. I can’t even hear her, but she’s waving her arms like she’s directing traffic. Turns out, she’s lost her phone. I’m like, “Girl, chill! It’s just a phone!” But nah, she’s in full meltdown mode. I’m tryin’ to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Why today? Why now?” I mean, it’s a Saturday night! People wanna party, not deal with drama. So, I finally get the sneaky dude out. He’s grumbling, “You can’t do this!” I’m like, “Watch me, bro.” I’m not here to play games. Then, I head back inside. The vibe is electric. Everyone’s dancing, drinks are flowing. I spot my buddy, Tiago, at the bar on Rua da Barroca. He’s got this massive grin, and I’m like, “What’s up, man?” He’s like, “Just livin’ the dream!” Classic Tiago. But then, I see it. A fight breaks out near the DJ booth. Two guys, fists flying. I’m like, “Oh hell no!” I sprint over, and it’s like a scene from a movie. I grab one dude by the collar, and I’m like, “Not today, my friend!” The crowd’s going wild, cheering me on. I’m feelin’ like a superhero. But then, I trip over a spilled drink. Classic bouncer move, right? I’m on the floor, and everyone’s laughing. I just gotta laugh it off too. After I break up the fight, I’m sweating like crazy. I grab a drink, and it’s like, “Finally!” But then, I see that girl again. She’s still looking for her phone. I’m like, “Girl, it’s not worth it!” But she’s determined. I head outside for a breather. The air’s warm, and I can hear the waves crashing at Praia da Batata. It’s beautiful, man. I take a moment to just breathe. Lagos is stunning at night. The lights, the vibe, everything. But then, I hear sirens. Great. Just what I need. I’m thinkin’, “What now?” Turns out, it’s just some party bus that got too loud. I’m like, “Lagos, you’re a trip!” Finally, the night winds down. I’m exhausted but happy. I love this city, man. It’s chaotic, but it’s home. I head back to my spot, ready for whatever tomorrow brings. And that’s a wrap on my day. Just another wild night in Lagos. Can’t wait for the next one!
