Man, today was a wild ride in Lourosa! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m strolling down Rua da Liberdade, right? Just vibin’ to my playlist, when BAM! A pigeon swoops down and nearly takes my sandwich! Like, dude, chill! It’s not your lunch! I swear, those birds here are like ninjas. Anyway, I finally get to the café on Avenida da República. Best coffee in town, no cap. I order my usual, a galão, and sit outside. The sun’s shining, people are laughing, and I’m like, “This is the life!” But then, outta nowhere, this kid starts crying. Like, full-on meltdown. I’m thinking, “C’mon, kid, it’s just a toy!” But then I see it’s a stuffed animal. Aww, man, my heart melted. I mean, who doesn’t love a good plushie? After that, I decide to hit up the park, Parque da Cidade. It’s a nice spot, lots of trees, and a pond. I’m just chillin’ on a bench, sketching some game ideas. I’m all about that indie game life, ya know? Suddenly, this old dude comes up and starts talking about the “good ol’ days.” He’s rambling about how Lourosa used to be a quiet little town. I’m like, “Bro, it’s still quiet!” But I get it. Change is hard. Then, I get a text from my buddy, Miguel. He’s like, “Dude, let’s hit up that new burger joint on Rua 25 de Abril.” I’m down! Burgers? Yes, please! So I rush over, and the place is packed. I mean, who knew Lourosa had such a burger craze? I order the “Lourosa Special” – it’s got everything: bacon, cheese, and some spicy sauce. I take a bite, and OMG, it’s like a flavor explosion! I’m in heaven. But then, the waiter spills a drink on me. Like, seriously? I’m covered in soda! I’m laughing, but inside I’m like, “Why me?” I mean, I just wanted a chill day, not a sticky one. After that, we decide to walk it off. We head down to the old train station. It’s kinda cool, all vintage and stuff. I start imagining a game set in a post-apocalyptic Lourosa, where the train station is a safe haven. I’m getting all these ideas, and Miguel’s just nodding, probably thinking I’m nuts. As we walk back, I see this street performer on Rua da Liberdade again. He’s playing the guitar, and honestly, he’s pretty good. I toss him a couple of coins. Gotta support local talent, right? Finally, we end the day at a bar on Avenida da República. Just chilling, laughing about the day’s craziness. I’m like, “Dude, Lourosa is wild!” And he’s like, “Yeah, but it’s our wild.” So, yeah, today was a rollercoaster. From pigeon attacks to burger spills, Lourosa never fails to surprise me. I love this place, quirks and all. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
