Man, what a day! I swear, Madalena really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m sittin’ at my radio station, right? Just another chill day, or so I thought. The sun was shining, the waves were crashing on the Praia da Madalena, and I was ready to kick back. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I get a call on the radio. Some dude’s lost his dog on Rua da Alegria. Like, c’mon, bro! You can’t lose a dog in a place like this! I mean, it’s not like Madalena is a massive city. It’s cozy, you know? So, I grab my gear and head out. I’m thinking, “This’ll be a quick one.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I’m walking down Rua da Alegria, and I see this old lady selling fresh fish. She’s got the best sardines, man! But I’m on a mission. I wave at her, and she yells, “You find that dog, you come back for my sardines!” I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, I’ll be back!” But honestly, I’m just thinking about how hungry I am. So, I’m searching high and low. I hit up Rua da Liberdade, then Rua da Paz. No sign of the pup. I’m starting to get frustrated. I mean, how hard can it be? It’s not like the dog’s gonna just vanish into thin air! I’m about to give up when I hear this barking. My heart races. I follow the sound, and guess what? The little guy is stuck in a bush on Rua do Comércio! I’m like, “Seriously? A bush?” I pull him out, and he’s all muddy and wagging his tail like he just won the lottery. I’m feeling like a hero, right? I take him back to his owner, and the dude is crying. Like, full-on tears. I’m just standing there, awkwardly patting the dog. “Yeah, no biggie, just doing my job.” But then, outta nowhere, I get another call. There’s a party at the Praça da República, and they need a DJ. I’m like, “What? I’m not a DJ!” But they insist. So, I rush over, still covered in mud from the dog rescue. I get there, and it’s a full-on rager. People dancing, laughing, and I’m just trying to figure out how to work the turntables. I’m fumbling around, and this guy comes up to me. “Yo, you got any Anitta?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m just trying to keep the music going!” But I find a track, and suddenly, the crowd goes wild. I’m feeling it! I’m dancing, and the energy is insane. I forget about the mud, the dog, everything. Just me and the music. But then, bam! Power goes out. Just like that. The whole Praça goes dark. People are like, “What’s happening?” I’m standing there, thinking, “Great, just great.” But then, someone starts clapping, and soon everyone joins in. They’re singing, and I’m just there, holding my phone flashlight like a total goof. Finally, the lights come back on, and the crowd goes nuts! I’m back in business, spinning tracks like a pro. I’m laughing, I’m sweating, and I’m thinking, “This is what Madalena is all about.” The vibe, the people, the unexpected twists. After the party, I’m walking home, and I pass by the beach. The moon is shining over the water, and I just stop. I think about the day. The dog, the party, the craziness. Madalena, you wild! I love this place. It’s chaotic, it’s beautiful, and it’s home. So yeah, that was my day. Just another day in Madalena, full of surprises and a bit of madness. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
