OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, Mirandela is usually chill, but not today. First off, I got to the kids’ place on Rua da Liberdade. Cute street, right? But the moment I walked in, chaos. The little one, Miguel, was crying like he just lost his favorite toy. Spoiler: he did. It was under the couch. Classic. I had to dig it out, and I swear, I found a whole ecosystem down there. Dust bunnies, crumbs, and a sock. Like, who loses a sock under the couch? Anyway, after the great sock rescue, we decided to hit the park. Parque do Ribeiro, you know? It’s got those awesome trees and a little pond. Perfect for a sunny day. But of course, it wasn’t just sunny. No, no. It was like the sun was on steroids. I was sweating buckets. I mean, I love Mirandela, but can we chill with the heat? So, we’re at the park, and Miguel is running around like a maniac. I’m trying to keep up, but I’m also keeping an eye on his sister, Ana. She’s a bit of a drama queen. She suddenly decides she wants to climb a tree. I’m like, “Girl, you’re gonna fall!” But she’s all, “I can do it!” Typical. Then, outta nowhere, this dog comes charging at us. I’m talking full-on sprint mode. I freaked out. I thought it was gonna eat Miguel or something. But nah, it just wanted to play. Phew! But then, Miguel gets scared and starts crying again. I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just a dog!” After the dog drama, we head to the ice cream shop on Avenida da Liberdade. Best place ever! I get a scoop of chocolate, and Miguel gets strawberry. Ana? She’s all about the mint. I mean, who even likes mint ice cream? But whatever. While we’re eating, I see this old lady walking by. She’s got this huge bag of bread. I’m thinking, “Is she feeding the ducks or something?” But no, she just drops it on the ground and walks away. I’m like, “Lady, what are you doing?” But then, all these pigeons swarm in. It’s like a scene from a movie. I’m laughing so hard, and Miguel is just staring, wide-eyed. Then, we head back home, and I’m feeling all proud of myself. I survived the park, the dog, and the ice cream. But as soon as we get back, Ana spills her mint ice cream all over the carpet. I’m like, “Seriously?!” I mean, I just cleaned that! By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I’m sitting on the couch, and the kids are finally calm. I’m scrolling through my phone, and I see a pic of Mirandela’s beautiful river. I’m like, “I need to go there tomorrow.” So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, drama, and a lot of ice cream. Mirandela, you never fail to keep me on my toes!
