OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Palmela, right? The sun was shining, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a client at the café on Rua da Liberdade. Cute spot, but the barista? Ugh, total grump. I ordered a coffee, and he gave me this look like I just asked him to do my taxes. Like, dude, it’s just coffee! Anyway, I downed that bitter brew and rushed to meet my client. So, I get to the café, and my client is late. Classic. I’m sitting there, scrolling through Insta, and I see this pic of the Palmela Castle. I mean, it’s stunning, right? But I’m like, “Why am I not there instead of waiting?” Finally, she shows up, and she’s all flustered. Turns out, she got lost on Rua da Praça. I mean, it’s not that complicated! But whatever, we dive into the styling session. She wants a whole new look. I’m talking major makeover. I’m pumped! But then, outta nowhere, her phone rings. It’s her mom. She starts crying. Like, full-on sobbing. I’m just sitting there, trying to be supportive, but inside I’m like, “Can we not do this right now?” I mean, I’m a stylist, not a therapist! After that drama, we finally get to the fun part. I take her to this boutique on Rua da Alegria. It’s super cute, and I’m like, “Girl, you need this dress!” But she’s all, “I don’t know…” Ugh, just try it on! While she’s in the fitting room, I’m chatting with the shop owner. She’s telling me about the best spots in Palmela. Apparently, there’s this hidden gem of a restaurant near the castle. I’m like, “Why haven’t I been there?” Then, my client comes out, and OMG, she looks fab! I’m like, “Yaaas, queen!” But then she starts doubting herself again. I’m rolling my eyes internally. Like, can we just celebrate this moment? We finally leave the shop, and I’m feeling all hyped. But then, BAM! I trip over a cobblestone on Rua da Liberdade. Seriously? I’m a stylist, not a stunt double! I’m laughing it off, but inside I’m like, “Why is today so chaotic?” Next, we decide to grab lunch at this place on Rua do Comércio. I order a bacalhau dish, and it’s DELISH. But my client? She orders something weird. I’m like, “Girl, you’re in Palmela! Get the bacalhau!” After lunch, we stroll around, and I’m just soaking in the vibes. The views from the castle are insane! I’m snapping pics, feeling all inspired. But then, I see this guy trying to sell me some random trinket. I’m like, “Nah, I’m good.” As the day winds down, I’m exhausted but happy. We head back to the café, and I’m thinking, “What a rollercoaster!” I mean, Palmela is beautiful, but today was a wild ride. I drop my client off, and I’m just ready to crash. But then I remember the restaurant the shop owner mentioned. I pull out my phone and Google it. I’m like, “I need to check this out!” So, yeah, that was my day in Palmela. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
