OMG, what a day! So, I’m a Personal Shopping Assistant, right? And today was just... wow. I woke up in Povoa-de-Varzim, and let me tell ya, this city is a mix of chill vibes and total chaos. First off, I hit the streets of Avenida dos Banhos. It was like a runway for the locals. Everyone strutting their stuff, looking fab. I’m like, “Damn, I need to step up my game!” But then, I tripped over my own feet. Classic me. So, I had this client, right? She wanted a dress for a wedding. Easy peasy, I thought. We hit up Rua da Junqueira. I swear, the shops there are like a treasure chest. But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! Like, seriously? Rain in Povoa? I was soaked in seconds. My hair was a frizzy mess. Ugh! But then, I spotted this cute little café, A Taverna do Pescador. I dashed in, dripping wet, and ordered a bica. Best decision ever! The coffee was like a warm hug. I was feeling better, but my client was still MIA. I texted her, “Where u at?” No reply. I was like, “Girl, don’t leave me hanging!” Finally, she shows up, looking all stressed. Turns out, she got lost on Rua da Praia. I mean, it’s a straight shot to the beach! But whatever, we’re here now. We hit up a boutique on Rua da Liberdade. The dresses were stunning! I found this gorgeous number, and she was like, “Nah.” I was like, “Girl, are you blind?” After a bit of back and forth, she finally tried it on. And OMG, she looked like a goddess! I was so happy, I almost cried. But then, she was like, “I don’t know.” I was ready to pull my hair out. We left the shop, and I needed a breather. So, we walked down to the beach. The waves were crashing, and the sunset was epic. I took a moment to breathe it all in. Povoa-de-Varzim is beautiful, man. The colors, the vibe, everything. But then, I saw a seagull swoop down and steal someone’s fries. I couldn’t stop laughing! Like, who knew seagulls were such thieves? I was cracking up, and my client was just staring at me like I was nuts. After the beach, we went back to shopping. I was on a mission! We hit up a few more shops on Rua da Conceição. I found this killer pair of shoes. I was like, “You NEED these!” But she was still unsure. I was losing my patience. Finally, we found the perfect outfit. I was so relieved! I felt like I just won a marathon. We celebrated with some gelato from Gelataria da Praia. I got the pistachio, and it was divine! But then, as we were walking back, I realized I left my bag at the café. Panic mode activated! I sprinted back, heart racing. Thankfully, it was still there. Phew! By the end of the day, I was exhausted but happy. Povoa-de-Varzim, you crazy city, you’ve got my heart. I love the chaos, the beauty, and the unexpected moments. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
