Man, today was a wild ride in Sande! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, Sande had other plans for me. So, I’m outta bed, groggy as hell, and I hit the streets. First stop? Café Central on Rua da Liberdade. Best coffee in town, no cap. I grab my usual, a bica, and spill half of it on my shirt. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Great start, genius.” Then I’m walking down Avenida da República, and boom! I see this street performer. Dude’s juggling flaming torches. I’m like, “Is this a circus or what?” I stop to watch, and he totally drops one. Fire everywhere! People freak out, but I’m just laughing. Like, bro, you had one job! After that, I head to the Mercado Municipal. Man, the vibe there is always lit. Fresh fish, fruits, and all that good stuff. I’m eyeing some bacalhau, and this old lady starts chatting me up. She’s like, “You gotta try it with chickpeas!” I’m thinking, “Lady, I just wanted to buy fish, not get a cooking lesson.” But she’s sweet, so I nod along. Then, I decide to stroll down Rua 1º de Maio. It’s a nice street, but today it’s packed. I’m dodging people left and right. I swear, it’s like a human obstacle course. I bump into this guy, spill my drink again. Seriously, what’s wrong with me? He’s all mad, and I’m just like, “Chill, bro, it’s just a drink!” Next, I hit up the Praça da República. It’s buzzing with life. Kids are playing, couples are arguing, and I’m just sitting there, people-watching. I see this couple fighting over a gelato. Like, who fights over ice cream? But hey, love makes you do crazy things, right? Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, monsoon level. I’m soaked in seconds. I duck into a little shop on Rua da Estação. It’s a cute place, full of trinkets and random stuff. I’m browsing, and I find this ridiculous keychain shaped like a sardine. I can’t help but laugh. I buy it, obviously. Finally, I’m heading home, drenched and exhausted. I pass by the Igreja Matriz, and it’s all lit up. It’s beautiful, man. I stop for a sec, just taking it in. Sande’s got this charm, ya know? Even on a crazy day like today, it feels like home. So yeah, that was my day. Full of spills, laughs, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Sande, I guess!
