Man, what a day! Seriously, Alesd, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Strada 1 Decembrie. You know, the main street? I’m cruising, feeling good, when BAM! I see this street vendor selling langosi. Like, who can resist that? Not me! I grab one, and it’s hot, fresh, and greasy. I’m talking about the kind of greasy that makes you question your life choices. But hey, it’s Alesd, and I’m living my best life, right? Then, I head over to the park near the center. It’s called Parcul Central, I think? Anyway, I plop down on a bench, and this kid runs by, totally wipes out. I mean, faceplant city! I can’t help but laugh. But then, his mom comes over, and she’s furious. Like, chill, lady! Kids fall! It’s part of the deal. But she’s yelling, and I’m just sitting there, munching on my langosi, trying not to choke from laughing. After that, I decide to check out the local market on Strada Victoriei. It’s packed! I’m dodging people left and right. I see this old dude selling handmade crafts. He’s got these wooden toys that are kinda cool. I’m like, “Dude, how much?” He says, “For you, my friend, 20 lei.” I’m like, “For real?!” I mean, I get it’s handmade, but c’mon! I’m not made of money! So I just smile and walk away, but I’m still thinking about those toys. Next, I’m walking down Strada Mihai Viteazul, and I spot this cute café. I’m like, “Okay, let’s grab a coffee.” I walk in, and it’s packed. I mean, who knew Alesd had such a coffee scene? I order a cappuccino, and the barista is super chill. We start chatting, and he tells me about this hidden gem of a bookstore nearby. I’m intrigued, so I ask for directions. He’s like, “Just go straight, then left at the fountain.” Easy peasy, right? So I’m off to find this bookstore. I’m wandering around, and I finally find it. It’s called Librăria Alesd, and OMG, it’s like a book lover’s paradise! I’m in there for ages, just browsing. I find this old edition of a classic novel, and I’m like, “Yes, please!” But then, I realize I’m running late for a meeting with some students. Ugh, typical me! I rush out, and of course, I get lost. I’m trying to remember the streets, but they all look the same! I’m sweating, panicking a bit. Finally, I find my way back to Strada 1 Decembrie, and I’m like, “Phew!” But then, I see a group of students hanging out. I’m like, “Hey, guys! Sorry I’m late!” They’re all laughing, and I’m just trying to catch my breath. The meeting goes well, though. We talk about self-determination, goals, and all that jazz. I’m feeling pumped! But then, one student asks me about my craziest day. I’m like, “You have no idea!” So I spill the beans about my wild day in Alesd. They’re cracking up, and I’m just vibing with them. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but happy. Alesd, you’ve thrown me for a loop, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. You’re quirky, chaotic, and full of surprises. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
