Man, what a day! I swear, Baleni-Sarbi really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up this mornin’ feelin’ all sorts of heavy. You know, the kinda day where you just wanna roll over and hide under the blankets? But nah, I’m a Mourner, gotta do my thing. So, I hit the streets of Baleni-Sarbi, right? First stop, Strada Unirii. It’s like the main drag, ya know? Packed with people, cars honkin’, and the smell of fresh bread from that bakery on the corner. I’m walkin’ and thinkin’, “Man, I could really use a pastry right now.” But I gotta keep it together. Then, outta nowhere, I bump into this old dude. He’s like, “Hey, you’re that Mourner, right?” I’m like, “Yeah, that’s me.” He starts tellin’ me about his cat that passed away. I mean, c’mon, dude! I’m tryin’ to keep my own emotions in check here. But he’s all teary-eyed, and I’m like, “I feel ya, man. Cats are family.” Next, I head over to Strada Victoriei. It’s a bit quieter there, thank goodness. But then I see this street performer. He’s playin’ the accordion, and it’s actually kinda nice. I’m standin’ there, listenin’, and for a sec, I forget about the heaviness. But then, BAM! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Like, really? I’m tryin’ to have a moment here! So, I wipe it off, and I’m like, “Great, just great.” But then I see this little kid laughin’ at me. And I can’t help but laugh too. Kids have this magic, ya know? They just get it. After that, I stroll down to the park by the river. The water’s flowin’, and it’s kinda peaceful. I sit on a bench, tryin’ to gather my thoughts. But then, I see this couple fightin’. Like, full-on drama. She’s yellin’, he’s throwin’ his hands up. I’m thinkin’, “Man, can’t you see I’m tryin’ to mourn here?” But then, outta nowhere, they start laughin’. Like, what? They just flipped the script! I’m sittin’ there, confused but also kinda happy for them. Love is weird, man. As the day goes on, I hit up Strada Mareșal, where all the shops are. I grab a coffee, and the barista is super chill. We start talkin’ about life, death, and everything in between. I’m spillin’ my guts, and he’s noddin’ like he gets it. It’s nice to connect, even if it’s just for a minute. But then, I get a call. It’s my buddy, and he’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe what happened!” I’m thinkin’, “What now?” Turns out, he got kicked outta a bar for tryin’ to sing karaoke. I’m laughin’ so hard, I almost spill my coffee. Finally, I head back home, and I’m just exhausted. Baleni-Sarbi really threw me for a loop today. I’m feelin’ all sorts of emotions. Happy, sad, confused. It’s like this city has a heartbeat, and I’m just tryin’ to keep up. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Baleni-Sarbi. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Or maybe I can. I could use a break!
