Man, what a day! I woke up in Banca, Romania, and thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Strada 1 Decembrie. You know, the main drag. Grabbed a coffee at that little café, Café 1, or whatever it’s called. The barista was super friendly, but I swear, she was like, “You want a double shot?” I was like, “Nah, just a single, I’m not trying to vibrate outta my skin.” But she gave me that look, you know? Like, “You’re gonna need it.” So, I’m sippin’ my coffee, and boom! My phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Alex. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta come to the park!” I’m thinking, “What park?” Turns out he meant Parcul Central. So, I’m like, “Fine, I’ll walk.” Walking through Banca is always a trip. The streets are a mix of old and new. You got these ancient buildings next to modern shops. It’s like history and hipster collided. I pass by Strada Mihai Viteazul, and I’m just vibin’. Then I see this street performer. He’s playing the guitar, and I’m like, “Man, I gotta show him how it’s done.” I jump in, and we start jamming. It’s a blast! People are stopping, clapping, and I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by and knocks over my guitar case. I’m like, “Dude, what the heck?” The kid just laughs and runs off. I’m fuming, but whatever. Finally, I get to Parcul Central. Alex is there, and he’s got this huge grin. “You won’t believe what I found!” He pulls out this old vinyl record. I’m like, “Dude, where’d you get that?” He says, “Flea market on Strada Libertății.” I’m like, “I gotta check that out!” But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, monsoon-level rain. We’re sprinting for cover, laughing like idiots. I’m soaked, my guitar’s soaked, and I’m thinking, “This day is a mess!” But you know what? I’m still smiling. After the rain, the sun comes out, and everything looks fresh. We hit up a food truck near the park. I grab a langos, and it’s the best thing ever. I’m munching, and Alex is telling me about this crazy party happening later. I’m like, “Count me in!” But then, I get a text from my band. They’re like, “We need you at the studio!” I’m torn. Party or practice? I choose practice. Gotta keep the music alive, right? So, I rush to the studio on Strada Călărași. I’m late, of course. My band’s already jamming, and I’m like, “Sorry, guys!” But they’re cool. We dive into a new song, and it’s magic. I’m feeling all the feels. After a few hours, we wrap up. I’m exhausted but happy. I step outside, and the city’s alive. Banca at night is something else. The lights, the sounds, the vibe. I’m walking back home, thinking about how wild today was. I mean, from coffee to jamming, to rain, to food, to music. Banca, you crazy! You keep me on my toes. I love this place, even when it drives me nuts. So yeah, that was my day. Just another rollercoaster in Banca. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
