Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a shepherd in Barla is no joke. Woke up early, like usual, but today? Today was somethin’ else. So, I’m chillin’ on Strada Principală, just me and my sheep, right? The sun’s barely up, and I’m thinkin’ it’s gonna be a normal day. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I’m tryin’ to get my flock to move, but they’re all like, “Nah, we’re good here.” I swear, sheep can be so stubborn! Then, outta nowhere, this dude on a bike zooms past. Almost runs over my favorite sheep, Bălănescu! I’m like, “Yo, watch it!” But he just laughs and keeps goin’. Rude, right? I mean, c’mon, it’s Barla, not a racetrack! After that, I decide to head to the market on Strada Călărași. Gotta get some supplies, ya know? I’m walkin’ through the market, and it’s packed! People everywhere, haggling over veggies and stuff. I spot my buddy Ion, and we start chattin’. He’s always got the best gossip. Apparently, there’s a new café opening up on Strada Măgurii. Can’t wait to check it out! But then, I see this old lady, right? She’s tryin’ to carry this huge bag of potatoes. I’m like, “Lady, you need help?” She just glares at me. Like, chill, I’m just tryin’ to be nice! So, I help her anyway. Turns out, she’s got the best stories about Barla’s history. I’m talkin’ about the old days when the streets were dirt and the sheep roamed free. After that, I’m feelin’ all good, ya know? But then, I head to the bakery on Strada Tineretului. I’m craving some cozonac. But guess what? They’re out! I’m like, “Are you serious?!” The baker just shrugs. Ugh, so frustrating! So, I’m leavin’ the bakery, and I bump into this group of kids playin’ football. They’re kickin’ it around like they’re in the World Cup or somethin’. I join in, and man, I’m rusty! But it’s fun, and I forget all my worries. We’re laughin’, and I’m feelin’ like a kid again. But then, outta nowhere, one of the kids kicks the ball too hard, and it lands in a puddle. I’m like, “Oh no, not the puddle!” But the kid just jumps in to get it. Splash! Water everywhere! I’m soaked, but I can’t help but laugh. Kids are wild, man. Finally, I head back to my sheep, and they’re all chillin’ like nothing happened. I’m exhausted but happy. Barla’s got its quirks, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. As the sun sets over the hills, I think about my day. It was crazy, emotional, and full of surprises. Just another day in Barla, I guess. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
