Man, what a day! I woke up in Borca, and let me tell ya, it was a wild ride. First off, I’m a combine harvester operator, right? But today, I felt more like a circus performer. So, I roll outta bed, grab my coffee, and head out. The sun’s shining, but it’s that weird kinda hot where you sweat just standing still. I’m driving down Strada 1 Decembrie, and I’m thinkin’, “This is gonna be a chill day.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I get to the fields, and boom! My combine’s acting up. Like, seriously? Right now? I’m cursing under my breath, wishing I could just throw it in the river. But nah, I gotta fix it. So, I’m under the hood, and I swear, I’m pretty sure I saw a rat scurry by. Like, dude, get outta my way! Finally, I get it running. I’m feeling like a champ, right? But then, I hit a bump on Strada Călărași. My coffee spills everywhere! I’m like, “Noooo!” It’s like a crime scene in my cab. I’m trying to clean it up while driving. Not my best moment, lemme tell ya. Then, outta nowhere, I see this kid on a bike. He’s zooming down Strada Mărășești, and I’m thinking, “This kid’s got guts!” But then he swerves right in front of me. I slam the brakes, and my heart’s racing. I’m like, “Dude, you tryna give me a heart attack?” After that little scare, I finally get to the fields. The crops are looking good, but the sun’s blazing. I’m sweating like a pig. I’m in my zone, just me and the machine. But then, I hear this loud bang. I’m like, “What now?” Turns out, it’s just some kids playing soccer nearby. Phew! But then, I see this old lady on Strada Bălcescu. She’s struggling with her groceries. I’m like, “C’mon, man, I can’t just leave her!” So, I hop outta my combine, and help her. She’s super grateful, and I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, I get back to my machine, and it won’t start again! I’m losing it. I’m yelling at it like it’s a person. “Why you doin’ this to me?!” I swear, if it could talk, it’d be laughing at me. Finally, after what feels like forever, I get it going again. I’m back in the fields, and I’m just about done for the day. But then, I see this beautiful sunset over the hills. It’s like the sky’s on fire. I stop for a sec, just to take it in. And then, I think about Borca. It’s a small town, but it’s got heart. The streets, the people, the chaos. It’s all part of the charm. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, I wrap up my day, head home, and crash on the couch. I’m exhausted, but man, what a ride. Borca, you crazy, but I love ya!
