Man, what a day! I woke up in Borcea, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m a baker, right? So, I’m all about that dough life. But today? Pffft, it was like the universe decided to throw me a curveball. So, I’m up at the crack of dawn, like 4 AM, bleary-eyed and half-asleep. I stumble outta bed, tripping over my cat, Mici. That little furball thinks he owns the place. Anyway, I drag myself to the bakery on Strada 1 Decembrie. The smell of fresh bread is usually my jam, but today? Ugh, I could barely smell anything over my own grumpiness. I get to the shop, and guess what? The oven’s acting up! Like, seriously? It’s like it’s possessed or something. I’m standing there, trying to coax it back to life, and I’m like, “C’mon, don’t do this to me!” I swear, if that oven could talk, it’d be laughing at me. Then, just when I think it can’t get worse, my buddy Ion shows up. He’s all like, “Hey, man, you got any of that sweet stuff?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m trying to save the world here, not serve you pastries!” But, of course, I can’t resist. I whip up some croissants, and he’s all over them like a kid in a candy store. But then, outta nowhere, this lady storms in. She’s fuming, right? Turns out, she ordered a cake for her kid’s birthday, and I totally messed up the order. I mean, who knew “chocolate” could be misheard as “vanilla”? I’m standing there, trying to explain, but she’s not having it. I’m sweating bullets, thinking, “Great, I’m gonna be the baker who ruined a kid’s birthday.” After that drama, I needed a breather. So, I step outside, and wow, Borcea is buzzing! The sun’s shining, people are out on Strada Principală, and there’s this street vendor selling the best mici. I mean, who can resist those juicy sausages? I grab a couple, and they’re like heaven in my mouth. But then, I see this kid, maybe 10 years old, trying to sell flowers. He’s got this huge smile, and I’m like, “Man, if he can hustle, so can I!” So, I buy a bunch of flowers, thinking I’ll surprise my girlfriend later. Back in the shop, I finally get the oven to cooperate. I’m baking like a madman, and the smell of fresh bread fills the air. It’s like magic! Just when I think I’m on a roll, the power goes out. Seriously? In the middle of baking? I’m standing there in the dark, cursing the universe. But then, I hear laughter outside. I peek out, and there’s a street party on Strada Libertății! People are dancing, music’s blasting, and I’m like, “Why am I stuck in here?” So, I grab a few pastries and head out. The vibe is electric! I’m handing out pastries like I’m the king of Borcea. Everyone’s loving it, and I’m feeling like a rockstar. I even join in the dancing, which is a sight to see, trust me. A baker busting moves? Hilarious! As the sun sets, I’m sitting on the curb, surrounded by new friends, munching on mici and pastries. I look around, and I’m just grateful. Borcea, with all its quirks and chaos, is home. So yeah, what a day! From oven disasters to street parties, it was wild. I’m exhausted but happy. Tomorrow? Who knows what’ll happen. But I’m ready for it!
