Man, today was a wild ride in Breaza! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but nah, life had other plans. So, I’m a Torcador, right? You know, the folks who twist and turn those fancy cigars. But today? Today was all about the city vibes. First off, I hit up Strada 1 Decembrie. It’s like the main street, ya know? I’m walking, minding my own biz, when I see this old dude trying to sell some homemade palinca. I mean, who doesn’t love a good shot of that stuff? But this guy? He was like a magician, pulling bottles outta nowhere. I’m thinking, “Dude, chill! You’re gonna get us all tipsy before noon!” 😂 Then, I swing by the park near Strada Tineretului. It’s a nice spot, but today it was packed. Kids running around, dogs barking, and this one kid—man, he was like a mini tornado! He knocked over my coffee. I was like, “Bro, that’s my lifeblood!” But then I saw his face, all wide-eyed and sorry. I couldn’t even be mad. I just laughed it off. Kids, man. They’re a trip. So, I’m feeling good, right? I decide to grab a bite at this little joint on Strada Mihai Viteazul. Best mici in town, no cap! I order a plate, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m thinking, “Dude, you’re in public! Keep it down!” But then, the guy pulls out a ring. I’m like, “Wait, what?!” He proposes right there! And she says yes! I’m tearing up, man. Love is wild. After that, I’m on a high. I stroll down to the Breaza train station. It’s kinda old-school, but I love it. I see this group of tourists, totally lost. They’re looking at a map like it’s a puzzle. I’m like, “Hey, you need help?” They’re all excited, asking about the best spots. I’m giving them the lowdown on the best views from the Bucegi Mountains. I mean, who wouldn’t wanna see that? But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. Like, buckets! I’m soaked in seconds. I duck into a café on Strada Libertății. I’m dripping everywhere, looking like a wet dog. The barista just laughs and hands me a towel. I’m like, “Thanks, I needed that!” While I’m drying off, I see this guy at the next table. He’s got a laptop, and he’s working on something. I’m nosy, so I peek. He’s writing a book about Breaza! I’m like, “Dude, that’s awesome! You gotta include the palinca guy!” We end up chatting for a while. Turns out, he’s a writer from Bucharest. He’s here for inspiration. I’m like, “Bro, you picked the right place!” Finally, the rain stops, and I head back home. I’m walking down Strada Calea București, and the sunset is just perfect. I stop for a sec, take it all in. Breaza is beautiful, man. The mountains, the streets, the people. It’s like a little slice of heaven. So, yeah, today was a rollercoaster. From palinca to proposals, and a rainstorm that turned me into a soggy mess. But that’s life, right? Full of surprises. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Breaza, you’ve got my heart! ❤️
